(22) "this isn't fortnite, this isn't ninja, this is kinda cringe :/"

THEY watched as Tommy was forced to walk with Techno, even though Tommy clearly wanted to run to where Y/N and Fundy were.

Techno was keeping hold of Tommy by his arm, making sure he didn't run off, and looking pretty stern about it. Tommy, on the other hand, looked absolutely wrecked.

Tommy had tears streaming down his face, he held a furious expression, yet he looked to be in denial, as well.

He seemed to notice Y/N and Fundy standing just ahead, and immediately started trying to pull against Techno even more than he had before.

Y/N felt pity for the boy.

Tommy yelled out again, at Techno.

"LET ME GO YOU BITCH! YOU DON'T FUCKING UNDERSTAND!"

Then came Techno's response.

"I do understand, actually, Tommy. Losing people is difficult. But for the love of god, please stop struggling."

And Tommy only continued yelling more after that, not stopping his struggling for even a second.

"I HAVEN'T LOST ANYONE! YOU'RE ALL FUCKING LYING, YOU-YOU LIARS!"

Techno only sighed at this.

Y/N felt a gaze on her, and glanced over at Fundy, who was, in fact, looking at her. Fundy held a concerned look, and leaned over to whisper to her.

"..how are we going to deal with Tommy after this? Grief does shit to people, he's not going to listen to us, especially since we're keeping him hostage."

Now it was Y/N's turn to sigh at this. She whispered back to Fundy, with a neutral tone to her voice.

"We'll figure something out, we always do."

Fundy only nodded, agreeing with her statement.

Suddenly, Tommy seemed to catch sight of Tubbo's body, and once his gaze landed on it, it was all he could focus on.

Techno also seemed to notice this, as he finally let Tommy go.

Tommy sprinted towards Tubbo's body, the tears flowing down his face again, as he knelt beside Tubbo. Tommy looked like he couldn't believe it at first, and was muttering things like 'no' and 'this can't be real', until you could see it finally dawn on him that his best friend was gone forever.

He sobbed after that, laying his head down on Tubbo's torso, begging him to wake up. Begging for a heartbeat. Begging for the impossible.

Y/N couldn't stand to watch, but she still decided to make the move to comfort him.

She walked forward, and knelt down beside the boy, placing a hand on his back, as he cried.

Fundy and Techno stood to the side, watching awkwardly.

It was a sad moment for everyone.

FOR royalty, Dream could care less about the throne right now. It was surprising to everyone how distracted he seemed.

But Dream felt this was a normal reaction. When someone trespasses onto your land, and you can't find them, you'd be distracted too, right?
