(7) "If I can't make people smile... I will make them cry"

GRINNING, Y/N chatted to her heart's content with Niki. Tubbo would join in every now and then but for the most part, he seemed focused on his communicator.

ignoring that, and continuing to speak with Niki, she found herself liking Niki the best out of everyone she had met so far. Honestly, she found Niki rather attractive, after all, Y/N had always had more of a lean towards girls.

She had found Wilbur to be attractive as well, but she tried her best to ignore that factor when speaking to him so as not to end up making it obvious she thought he was the most handsome man on this earth.

Niki, on the other hand, seemed to be able to make her blush just by talking. of course, Y/N knew it wasn't romantic feelings, (she may not have had romantic feelings for someone before, but this felt similar admiration.) but she hoped to be able to continue talking with the german girl.

and then the bell rang throughout the bakery, indicating someone opened the front door.

"boss!"

glancing at Tubbo for a second, realizing he had spoken, she quickly redirected her attention to the door.

Wilbur was back.

the girl felt herself smiling, she may not have talked to him much, but she definitely enjoyed being around him.

he scanned the room almost immediately until his eyes landed on her.

she wasn't sure if it was her eyes playing tricks on her, or if there was really a glint in his eyes that screamed danger.

WALKING into the bakery, Wil felt his heart beating oh so fast as he scanned for Y/N.

he felt himself relax finally once he found her, and he immediately felt adoration at seeing the smile on her face.

"Boss!"

that was clearly Tubbo, but Wilbur couldn't care less for the boy at the moment. Quickly nodding his head at Tubbo, he made his way closer to where the three were standing.

Niki looked content at the moment and greeted Wilbur as per usual. Tubbo looked happy, and his bunny, Y/N, looked happy as well.

"Y/N, are you comfortable in L'manburg?"

he asked the question out of genuine curiosity, truth be told, he wanted her to be so comfortable in L'manburg that she wouldn't even think about leaving.

"yes, you all seem like really nice people!"

Wilbur noticed she seemed to be tugging slightly at the ends of her skirt, almost as if it was out of annoyance, although her facial expression showed a completely different story.

Niki also seemed to notice this, though she also seemed to understand something about it that he didn't.
