TWO WEEKS PASSED, AS MUZAN DIDN'T RETURNED AFTER THE NIGHT OF THAT INCIDENT.

He didn't visit them not even once, which made the H/C woman sad, as she missed his presence. Even B/N was worried, after all he was friends with Muzan.

Y/N was bored these past two weeks, since she was used to Muzan visiting them every night. She had nothing to do, other than babysitting Machi and entertaining her brother.

Yesterday night, Daichi asked her if they could talk. This was a good opportunity, because it was about the progenitor that Daichi has discovered.

She was curious as when Daichi was back from his travels, she would listen to him talk about what he saw and the food he tasted.

She leaned against the wall, as she sighed. She had nothing to do, and she was bored out of her mind. She finished her chores hours ago, as she tried to keep out a certain red eyed male from her thoughts.

She didn't know what to feel about Muzan disappearing for two weeks, without even sending a letter to let her-- them know he was doing fine.

He just disappeared as if the time they spent was meaningless for him. She also grew worried as someone died in the city, multiple body parts were missing.

When she saw the body, she was terrified as she could see the face.

It was the Police Officer in the past, the officer she asked to help her save Muzan from a demon.

Apparently he was missing for days, and his body was just now found by the Police. The family were grieving, and horrified as they didn't know how and where his other body parts were.

B/N banned her from going out to the City during night time, she was only allowed to go if she was accompanied by someone he knows.

And sadly the only person qualified for him was Muzan, who was not present at the moment. He doesn't even trust Daichi that much, since the said man was always not there for his own sister.

And B/N was scared if Daichi was somehow separated from Y/N during their trip to the City, since Daichi can easily get distracted whenever he sees something interesting.

He heard that Daichi wanted to talk to Y/N about something that involves Muzan, he was curious since the brown haired male wasn't a fan of Muzan.

A loud knock was heard, Y/N walked towards the door to open it. She hoped it was Muzan, but she knows it wasn't.

She opened the door only to see Daichi holding Machi in his arms, who immediately smiled as she saw the H/C woman.

" Y/N!" Machi exclaimed as tapped her brother's arms to signal she wanted to be released from his hold.

" Machi!" Y/N enthusiastically yelled as she smiled back to the little girl who ran towards her opened arms. " How are you doing?"

" I am doing alright, Big brother has been home for the past few days!" The little girl told her as she snuggled in her chest. " Has he visited?..."

Y/N froze as she knew what she was talking about, she wasn't the only one who missed the presence of the black haired male.

Machi also missed him even if the time they spent was short. Every Time she visits the past two weeks, she will always ask if Muzan returned.

She was well aware of the large impact Muzan made, as well as Daichi who was furious when he heard of it.

She didn't exactly know when their dispute started, they seemed fine and were getting along with each other when she introduced them.

Seems like she assumed wrong.

Daichi studied her facial expression, as he knew she was thinking of that demon. He clenched his jaw, as he noticed she was still unaware of what he truly is.

He despised Tsukihiko, for manipulating Y/N into believing he was a human. He had a feeling Tsukihiko wasn't even his real name, it was more like an alias to fit in as a human.

He was glad he contacted the demon slayer corps, as he remembered a letter he received that they already sent a Mizunoto.

But a few nights ago he wrote a letter again, asking them to make sure that there was no more demon in this city. He knows Y/N loved taking a walk during night time.

He was still awaiting a reply from the Corps, he can only hope that this time they send in a Hashira to investigate since he heard that Muzan was spotted in this City that night as well.

He was sure that Tsukihiko was somehow involved with Muzan--

Muzan... didn't Y/N call Tsukihiko that name before? He could remember her slip up the first time he met the black haired male.

She called him Muzan and told him it was a nickname, it was the first time she lied to him as well.

From what he heard Muzan was the first demon and the progenitor. It was because of him, that there were demons terrorizing and killing humans.

His eyes widened from the thoughts rushing through his head, that he was not aware of Y/N repeatedly calling his name. Until she gently tapped his hand, snapping him out of his thoughts.

" Are you alright? You seem out of it..." Y/N whispered as she retracted her hand, and guided him to the chair. B/N was entertaining the little girl, so they had time to talk.

Daichi grabbed her hand, as he darted towards the door with the H/C woman in tow. Y/N was baffled by his actions as she tried to keep up with his long strides.

" Daichi, where are we going? And what's going on." She asked with a confused expression as she had no idea where he was taking her.

" We need to talk, it's about Tsukihiko." Y/N froze for the second time, as she had gotten a glimpse of his eyes.

Daichi was confused but at the same time he was determined. It was like he was aware of something that she isn't. Y/N had a feeling that whatever he was going to say...will somehow make sense in the future.
