Y/N WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT MUZAN, SHE DIDN'T KNOW THAT IF HE HAD GOTTEN EATEN BY THAT DEMON OR SOMETHING ELSE HAD HAPPENED.

She was standing near a large tree getting impatient, until she scratched her head in frustration.

" P-Please c-calm down." A male police officer stuttered as he watched Y/N pace in front of him. He tried to interview her, as someone has reported that there was a female who looked out of her mind, screaming for help.

" Y-You don't understand, m-my friend is being attacked by a d-demon right now! W-W need to h-help him." Y/N explained as she clenched her fists, and faced the direction of the male officer, who jumped surprised.

" As a police officer, I'm sure that it is part of your duty, to protect the citizens right?" The male only nodded in nervousness, first day on the job and he had to handle a woman like her. He should have accepted the offer of his senior earlier. " Y-Yes.."

" Great! Now I need you to go and save my friend, from a potential death he is facing right now." Y/N rubbed her hands against each other, as she tried to calm down. She took deep steady breaths, and took a few steps forward.

When she didn't hear another set of footsteps following her, she glanced back. As her jaw dropped in disbelief.

The Police officer was shaking in fear, making her face palm. She dragged her hand down her face, as she heaved a sigh.

" Why aren't you following me?! We could have arrived by now to help Muzan." She yelled as she marched towards the officer and placed her hands on his shoulders, before shaking him violently. " Can you just listen to me for one second?!"

" D-Did you j-just said d-demon? B-But there's no such thing a-as d-demons!" He denied her claims and took a few steps back, distancing himself from the woman in front of him. As he looked at her, now confirming she was crazy. " T-There's something w-wrong with you."

" W-Wait what?!--" She was cut off when the male began laughing at her.

" Y-you are crazy, why would demons exist? That's absurd!" He clutched his stomach as he regained a little bit of confidence, " Something is really wrong with you, now come with me I have to report you--"

"That won't be necessary." The familiar pale skin of Muzan came into view, with the usual fake smile plastered on his face. "I shall take it from here. You are no longer needed here, neither are your services. "

Y/N gasped as her hands covered her mouth in shock, she immediately ran towards him and engulfed him in another tight hug.

" I-I'm so g-glad y-you're alright. I-I thought something bad happened to you!" She inhaled his scent from his clothes, that made her halt, as her nose scrunched up. She knew Muzan felt her stop, and forced a smile to her face.

She knows that smell anywhere...

The metallic smell of blood.

She glanced up in order to meet his eyes, quickly scanning his clothes for anything that looked suspicious. Until she spotted his white tie, well there was a blood stain on it.

Muzan knew where she was looking at, but ignored it and redirected his stare towards the police officer. " As I said, I shall handle it from here."

" B-But I- I need to take that woman with me! She was telling me earlier, that demons are real and that you were being attacked by one." The male officer's previous confidence was now gone, as he tried not to flinch under the stare of the black haired male in front of him.

' Take her with you...' The progenitor licked his lips as he clenched his jaw, he needed to stay calm in front of Y/N in order not to scare her. ' No one is going to take Y/N away from me. Absolutely no one...'

" Y/N, let us go back home. B/N must be worried already." Muzan began to lead her away from the male officer who stood confused. His fake smile dropped again, as he snapped his fingers. Knowing full well that two demons namely Susamaru and Yahaba were listening.

" Kill that Officer." He ordered with a blank face.

" Did you say something?" Y/N asked as she walked beside him. Glancing towards his face, his plum red eyes meeting hers.

" You must be tired, you are mistaken, I clearly didn't say anything. When we get back, I recommend you get some rest immediately." He placed a hand on her back, before his eyes scanned behind them.

Only to see a blur, fast enough for humans not to see but not for him. He knew that those two disposable demons already took care of the Police Officer.

"I shall make sure that you are always safe by my side... Y/N "
