"The third reason I can think of... is that Muzan was planning on turning you into a demon."

Shinobu's voice kept replaying inside her mind, which resulted to her not sleeping even for a wink for the past few days.

The bags under her eyes darkened, as she tossed and tossed around her bed still disturbed and frightened from the events that happened.

She was still wrapping her mind around the fact that Tsukihiko or mostly known as Muzan, was the progenitor of demons.

She can never forget that demons killed her parents, just like Daichi and Machi's parents.

She felt betrayed but most of all, she was a fool for believing all the words that flowed out of his mouth.

To think she was spending and enjoying her time with a demon, it filled her with shame and hate for not realizing it.

She didn't know what to tell her brother, who remained oblivious and still thought highly of Muzan. B/N knows that Muzan has been away for a trip and doesn't know when he will be back.

She was unsure if she should tell him Muzan is a demon, since they were friends. But if he found out on his own, who knows what kind of breakdown will happen.

When their parents died, B/N was silent for years. Only interacting with her when needed, and refused to make eye contact with her.

As from what she heard she looked a lot like her mother, who was very close with B/N. It was not until 3 years ago, that B/N began speaking to her, apologizing everyday until she smacked him and told him it was alright.

Y/N also knows that her brother noticed something was up, as he could easily read her like an open book. She hid the letter behind her back, and immediately darted towards her room.

The letter the leader of the demon slayers, Oyakata-sama sent her remained unopened on her table.

She was sure tonight, Shinobu and Tomioka-San was going to retrieve her response. They also slayed the female demon who attacked her, which made her feel slightly safe in Asakusa.

But what worried her, was if Muzan decided to visit again without her knowing. It could be tomorrow or next week, she didn't know and the fact that B/N still remains oblivious, he could let him in without hesitation.

She sat up from her bed, and held the letter in her hands. As she ripped the envelope, and slowly unfolded the paper.

Her eyes carefully read the contents, as she felt her heartbeat quickened from the information she received.

She was startled when she heard a loud knock from her door, and ended up letting go of the letter.

"Who is it?" Y/N asked as she took a deep breath.

"We need to talk, it's about— you know what, I'm coming inside your room." B/N stated as he opened her door ignoring her yells of protest.

"Can't we talk about this tomorrow—"

"This matter has to be handled tonight and I am not taking no for an answer." He said and stood by her door. "Ever since you got back that night you've been behaving peculiar."

"What do you mean?" She knew what he was talking about, but chose to act ignorant of what he meant.

"Staying inside your room and not coming out even to eat, is a very strange behavior don't you think?" B/N claims as he raised an eyebrow when his sister avoided his gaze. "It's like you have found out about something and chose not to tell me."

He mentally noted the slight flinch of the young woman, who heard his words clearly and it was not until that moment did he noticed the letter in her lap.

"What's that?" B/N asked as he pointed toward the letter, and walked closer to his sister.

"Just a letter, nothing to worry about." She replied as she grabbed the letter tightly, she didn't want him to read it as she knows he will be devastated.

"Can I see? Who's it from." He pressed further as he knows that she was hiding something from him, and it bothered him that she was starting to hide things from him. "If it's nothing, you will let me see it."

"I-I can't, it's for my eyes only." Y/N weakly responded as she held the letter across her chest. "It's from my acquaintances—"

Her brother snatched the letter from her hands, and tears started to form in her eyes as she watched his reaction.

B/N was silent, that she was sure he was confused. And she did not blame him, as it is very sudden and shocking.

"Is it true? Is that why you did not come out of your room?" He dragged his hand down his face as he let go of the letter, and took a deep breath feeling overwhelmed. "Is Muzan a demon?"

"B-B/N, calm down—" He glared at her, and stood up inching towards her face.

"Please just answer me... If it is true, then that would explain his appearance every night." B/N sounded defeated, as he backed away from her darting towards her door.

"B/N, where are you going? D-Don't tell me your going to leave—" She was once again ignored and she stood up following him quickly.

She grabbed his shoulder and held on to it tightly as she was being overlooked by her brother, who rushed to wear his coat and hat properly.

"Don't you dare leave this house B/N! Yes he is a demon, but you don't have to go out and find him—" Y/N pounded her fists against his back, as she tried to smack some sense in to the young man who shook off her hold.

"I'll be back..."

She could only watch her brother disappear into the night... as he tried to find answers that was not going to change.
