As soon as they reached Yao Residence, Princess Consort Xi Yinghua immediately got down out from the carriage without waiting for Third Prince Li Henxin to go down first. Madam Jing Ruyi takes a deep breath upon witnessing how her bold act and pretended not to see how the man sitting next to her looking as if he wanted to kill someone.

"Xi Yinghua... You..."

When she realizes her blunder, Princess Consort Xi immediately apologizes, "Oh, my... Silly me. Wangye, it seems like the incident that had happened earlier today drained me. This wife needs to take a good rest."

As soon as he sets his feet on the ground, Third Prince Li stares at his wife and says, "Really? This prince remembers that the one who is injured due to the so-called incident is me."

Princess Consort Xi chuckles before she continues to say, "Yes, of course. Obviously. Meimei, please make sure to clean the wound before changing the dressing. Wangye, this wife needs to go now. Please take care."

Madam Jing who has just stepped down from the carriage with the help of the Third Prince smiles and answers, "This concubine will do according to wangfei's instruction. Please rest well."

Princess Consort Xi nods her head before she enters the residence without waiting for both of them. Third Prince Li stares at his wife's back with a serious expression on his face. It seems like he is deep in his thought and still standing in front of his residence.

Madam Jing gently pats on his arm before she says, "Wangye, are you thinking about wangfei?"

"Ruyi... That woman is different... From my investigation, she is supposed to be someone who is meek and..."

Third Prince Li takes a deep breath and walks towards to the entrance of his residence as with Madam Jing following him closely behind.

Princess Consort Xi is walking happily towards her courtyard only to see that Mingyue is standing near the entrance with a smile on her adorable face.

"Yue Yue... What are you doing outside? Are you waiting for me?"

Upon seeing her, Mingyue immediately runs towards her before the girl stops in front of her. She then looks around them before saying, "Mother Hua, you are back. Mingyue is so bored while you are not here."

Princess Consort Xi takes the small hand and leads the girl towards her courtyard as she listens to Mingyue telling about what she has done for the day.

Mingli who has just noticed that her daughter is no longer within the courtyard, immediately walks out only to see that her daughter is holding hand with Princess Consort Xi.

"Welcome back, wangfei."

"En... You must have been looking for Mingyue. This girl is waiting for me outside the courtyard. Such a sweet thing."

Mingli smiles as she walks beside her and says, "How was your visit to the imperial palace?"

"Fine. The imperial family members are not that difficult to handle except for Imperial Noble Consort Du. Goodness... That woman is so bitter."

Mingli turns her head to look at her before she continues to say, "Is she not the beloved consort of His Majesty? Do not tell this servant that you have offended her."

Rui An is watching his wife and daughter walking on each side of Princess Consort Xi with a smile on his face.

Yingzi who is standing next to him did not say anything as he knows he is still considered as an outsider by the people within this courtyard. All he can do is to watch and report back at the Third Prince when needed to. But, of course, he would not anything that will annoy or offend Princess Consort Xi. After all, his livelihood in in her hands now.
