After the morning greetings, Xi Yinghua immediately goes back to her courtyard. She passes by one rather opulent courtyard with 2 watch guards guarding its entrance. She stops and stares inside the courtyard and cannot to help to wonder who lives in the courtyard.

"Wangfei, it seems that you're quite taken with this courtyard. Do you want to move in here?"

Xi Yinghua puts her sweetest smile as she turns to greet at her husband and his beloved, "This wife greets wangye and meimei. This wife dare not, wangye. After all, this courtyard seems to be quite well-taken care off so the one who stays here ought to be someone important. This humble one rather stays in her given courtyard as it is quite peaceful there..."

"Mother Hua! Mother Hua!"

Third Prince Li Henxi and Consort Jing Ruyi turn their attention into a small girl running towards their group with a huge smile on her adorable face. Both of them wonders who could she be.

Xi Yinghua is smiling as she sees the incoming figure but, Mingli is looking a bit nervous as the small girl is her daughter. Back in the Prime Minister's residence, her daughter is quite close with her young miss and she even calls her as, "Mother Hua" which is fine when it is amongst them but, they are no longer staying in the Prime Minister's residence.

Mingli immediately stops her daughter before she managed to hug Xi Yinghua, "Mingyue, why are you here? Did I not tell you not to get out from our room?"

Mingyue stares at her mother before she stares at Xi Yinghua who calmly walks towards the mother-daughter pair before she pinches Mingyue's cheeks.

"Mingli, do not scare the poor child. Yue Yue, why are you here? Your father will be worried sick."

Third Prince Li Henxin then says, "Is this your maid's daughter? How could she call you as "Mother Hua"? This is definitely a serious offence!"

Mingli immediately kneels and bow with her head on the floor, "This servant is at fault for not teaching her daughter, wangye. Wangfei has nothing to do with this..."

Xi Yinghua turns to look at her servant before she looks at Third Prince Li Henxin, "Yue Yue, Mother Hua will only say this once. In front of strangers, do call me as "Yao Wangfei or Princess Consort Xi or Di'fujin". After all, others will not be as understanding as Mother Hua. Understood?"

Mingyue being a bright girl immediately understands Xi Yinghua's words, "Wangfei, Yue Yue will listens to your words. Mingyue greets Wangye and Ce'fujin. Please do not put the blame on wangfei and my mother. This young girl forgets that we are no longer in Broken Jade Courtyard of the Prime Minister's residence."

Consort Jing Ruyi realizes that the air suddenly becomes rather stifling with both Third Prince Li Henxin and Princess Consort Xi Yinghua stares at each other in silence. Even the servants and guards are being somewhat terrified with this current situation between the master and mistress of the manor.

"Wangye... This little girl is still young but rather a bright one. She has already asked forgiveness due to her blunder. Wangfei and her maid are not to be blamed at this..."

Xi Yinghua smiles as she looks at Consort Jing Ruyi, "See... Meimei is such a kind and understanding person. Wangye, I do understand that the rules are different in your residence. I will make sure that I will personally teach Mingyue not to overstep her boundary."

She respectfully gives her courtesy before she gently takes both of Mingli's hands so that her maid will no longer kneel on the stone floor, "Mingli, let us return back to Broken Jade Courtyard. Yue Yue, hold onto your mother's hand."

Third Prince Li Henxin watches Xi Yinghua's back as she holds onto her maid's hand while she walks. Consort Jing Ruyi too is watching Xi Yinghua with a newfound respect for her.

It is obvious to everyone that wangfei is not afraid of the "demon". She did tell the little maid to be wary of her new surrounding but, on the other hand, she still calls herself as "Mother Hua" despite telling the young girl of her official title as "Yao Wangfei, Princess Consort Xi". She even has given her courtyard a new name, Broken Jade Courtyard, which is a similar name to her courtyard at the Prime Minister's residence. Isn't that a blatant warning for Third Prince Li Henxin that her courtyard is hers and off-limits to others including him? Is this the reason why the Emperor has chosen her to be the main wife of Yao Wangye?

In terms of beauty, both the Di'fujin and the Ce'fujin are equally beautiful. Ce'fujin is a gentle and well-mannered beauty who only follows and listens to what the Third Prince Li wanted her to do. Di'fujin is quite calm in nature but, her words are obviously bold. Calm at times. Bold at times. Fiery in nature. Something about her sparks every time she says something. Yao Wangye will definitely have a hard time controlling his princess consort.

Suddenly, all of the spectators have reached into the same conclusion.

That was it! That must be the reason why His Majesty, the Emperor chose the legitimate daughter of the Prime Minister to be Yao Wangfei. He must have discovered that she is not someone easy to handle and able to stands on her own two-feet whenever she faces the uncompromising Yao Wangye, Third Prince Li Henxin who is the also the Minister of War.

It is well known that though Consort Jing Ruyi is his longtime lover, she is someone who never goes against him or others for that matter. This is due to the fact that she is not only from an insignificant clan but she is also a daughter of a former prostitute who has become a concubine of a rather powerful third rank official. Their wangye has met her 7 years ago when he was on a war expedition in the far north. He then brought her back to the imperial city and she stays in one of his secondary residences.

As for their wangfei, they knew that she is indeed the legitimate daughter of the Prime Minister but her mother is just a mere commoner so her status is not that well-off anyway. She is said to be quite fond of literature, drawing, music and embroidery. Due to her humble maternal background, she rarely attends any social gatherings. But, she is said to be quite soft-spoken and gentle in her manner as well. Turns out she is someone who is direct not only in her words but manner as well. She seems to be quite accepting towards the existence of Consort Jing and treats her well. As for their wangye, she obviously draws a line separating his and her matters. Which is an obvious blow for their proud wangye.

The calm and peaceful days of Yao Residence will definitely be shaken with their wangfei going against their wangye whenever she could. Other residents might suffer from conflicts caused by the wife and concubines but, Yao Residence will suffer from conflicts from the master and mistress of the manor.

"Ruyi, you can go back to your courtyard on your own. This prince has to pay a visit to that uncompromising woman..."

Consort Jing Ruyi gives her curtsy and watches her beloved walks towards the same direction as his wangfei. When she first entered the residence as his ce'fujin, she thought that she will be treated unfairly by her but turns out that the decreed princess consort is quite accepting and, somewhat kind too. Still, she definitely did not bother to be on the nicer side of their husband. More like she wanted their husband to dislike her and not to bother at all when it comes to her matter.

Shouldn't a woman be compromising and treated her husband with respect? Di'fujin definitely did not bother with any of what a virtuous wife should do in the first place. She respected that of the princess consort but, she fears on her behalf at the same time.

After all, Third Prince Li Henxin is someone to be reckoned with. He will not hesitate to eliminate anyone that goes against him.

Consort Jing Ruyi softly sighs before she walks back to her courtyard with slight worry in her heart.
