" Are you ready Y/N?" The ice spirit asked, turning around so that she could look at me. I raised my only remaining hand, looking at the palm. It was the one place left of my body that did not have any scars.

" Yes," I replied, slowly lowering my hand and looking up at the giant being. She nodded her large head and turned around. Walking deeper into the large blue ice circle.

I turned around and gave Shila once more look. He had Arko in both of his hands as he looked at me with a mixture of awe and uncertainty. I gave him a small nod and he eventually gave on back after looking back at Uraani behind me.

I saw him take a big nervous gulp as I turned back around. Placing my hand on top of Y/S/N's head. Together she and I walked away from Shila and further into the circle as well.

The closer and closer we got to the center, the more furious the winds became. It pushed me front to back and side to side. Bringing with it large snowflakes that felt like ice as it pelted my skin.

I could barely keep my eyes open against the cold that burned them. I kept my hand on Y/S/N as tightly as I could, not wanting to lose hold of her and get separated in the wind storm

" Urani!" I called out to the bear as she got further and further ahead of me. I was slowing down badly and she was leaving me behind. However, the howling wind was so strong that Not even I could hear my own voice.

I spared a glance behind me. I could not see Shila anymore. The storm had completely hidden him from view. I knew he was safe though; this storm was only around the center of the circle.

I regretted looking back though when I turned forward again. I had completely lost sight of the white bear. Everything was stark white here. The sky, the ground, the bear, my snake. Only I and the blue ground were of a different color.

Speaking of which the more I walked into the storm the darker the ice got underneath me. It was now so dark that it was almost black.

Y/S/N pressed her face into my fur clothing as we kept getting hit by the snowflakes. It was actually not cold in the storm. I felt the cold of the arctic yes, but it was not nearly as cold as it should have been for a storm of this strength.

I tried to call out to the bear in my mind instead of my voice. maybe she could hear me then. I tried to anyway, but I got no response. It was as if she had completely vanished into the wind. Leaving me and Y/S/N all alone.

Wait... That was it. Y/S/N was the key! Urani was warm when I hugged her. Maybe Y/S/N could find her! I looked down at the serpent, who was looking back up at me.

She flicked her tongue out. Tasting the wind with the waving forked appendage. I nodded at her and she looked forward. She turned her head in different directions as she kept smelling the air.

Finally, she snapped her head in the direction partly to our left and I followed her as she led me. The storm was so bad now that I could barely stay on my feet. I kept my head tilted downwards and my hand steady on Y/S/N's neck as she changed direction and went to the right.

We did this for a while, it could have been hours, it could have been mere moments. I just hoped we were not trapped in this whirlwind forever going around in circles.

Then, as if stepping out from the storm and into a nice warm house, it suddenly all stopped. I almost lurched forward since I had been pushing so hard through the wind.

I caught myself before I could fall flat on my face. Noticing that below us the ice had changed. It was no longer an inky blue, but much lighter. It almost looked like there was a big sun underneath the ice below us.
