I did not say anything for a long, long moment. Addily had her head lowered down as she looked down at the ground, but her eagle stared at me with its wide, scarlet eyes.

My own expression was that of glare, I could not help it. I don't think it could be possible to have anything other than a glare on my face at the moment.

" I just want you to know..." I started, and her head slightly lifted as I started talking. " That if my snake was not in danger, I would be gouging your eyes out and making you eat them right now. You thought that this was a good idea huh? well, look at you now. Your nothing more than a sack of scars just like I am." I hissed over to her.

Her head continued to stay slightly lowered, and she did not reply. Her eyes were wide and she looked as if she did not know how to reply to that statement.

Perhaps that was for the better if she did not. The sound of her voice might just make me snap and do something I would regret.

My stare hardened and I could not blink however when she actually started chuckling. She. Was. Chuckling. It started out small and then escalated into full-on cackling as she threw her head back as her shoulders bounced up and down.

Her bird spread its winds wide and cawed along as Addily's chest heaved as her lungs ran out of air. I ground my teeth together as she lifted a shaking hand and wiped a silvery tear from her cheek. When she looked at me there was nothing but laughter in her eyes.

" Do you think I regret my decisions Y/N?" She asked in a sickeningly sweet voice. Her head tilting to the side slightly. My mouth was agape, I could not even breath I was in so much shock right now.

" No Y/N. Do you see? this is only one more step to power, I may be scarred, but I still have all of my limbs, both my eyes and my father." She taunted and I almost leaped across the reed matt to attack her. The only thing that stopped me was the brief flash of Y/S/N's face in my mind. They would hurt her if I lashed out, I had to do whatever I could to prevent that.

" So you haven't killed your father too? Where is he now? Is he on board with all of this too?" I growled out and she took in a big exaggerated sigh.

" No, He still needs some time to see. I left him back home for now, but I will be back for him." a growl sounded in my throat from his words.

" Time to see what? That you were right for murdering his own twin brother?!" I snapped at her and her eyebrows lowered to a glare.

" He is the whole reason that my family was torn apart!" She screamed at me.

" The reason your family was torn apart was that your mother decided to be a slut and when she was caught she left!! What? did she never go back to see her family after she left, sounds a lot like guilt to me!" I screamed back.

" You would not know!! You don't have your mother anymore!"

" Your wrong Addily! I lost my birth mother but I gained a new one! I got one who loves me just as much as my birth one did! She gave me my life back! She gave me a family!... she gave me love." My voice lowered to a whisper. Addily started cackling again.

" I thought you said that she never loved you! Togul told me. You've lost faith in your mother. She can't help you anymore." She said cruelly. My breathing was so heavy that my vision was actually kind of clouding out. I clenched my teeth and turned my head. I chanted Y/S/N's name in my head over and over. I could not lose it now! she was depending on me.

It was not long after that when Togul came back into the room with a large grin on his face. He looked between me and Adilly, staring at me for longer.
