Your father walked slowly behind you as the line of people exited the cabin. You had to take small baby steps since everybody in front of you was walking like penguins. You pressed your lips in a thin line, tapping your finger on your arm as you grew impatient.

You did not want to seem like you were being rude. You were just really excited to meet your cousin and uncle! Your father had not mentioned anything about an aunt, so you wondered if you would meet her here or if she was somewhere else.

Your father chuckled at your antsy behavior and placed an arm on your right shoulder. Giving it a comforting squeeze. As you were impatient and excited though your father was just as worried and hesitant. You did not have to turn around to see his face to know it. The air around him gave off the feeling just enough.

When you and your father finally got off the plane, the two of you made your way to the bagging station where you got your bags and then wandered to find the front doors.

Your father said that that is where your uncle and cousin would be meeting you. Then they would drive you to where their research base was, then in the morning you would go and investigate the place where the artifacts were found.

Your excitedness was replaced with nervousness now. Yes, you did want to see the other part of your family, but what was it that made your father and uncle fall out such a long time ago?

What if your uncle really did not want to make up with your dad? what if he just called him here to get the job done and as soon as it was done he would send the two of you right back?

You did not want to think like that but you could not help but just be a little nervous. Your pour father though... He was practically shaking with anxiety. His eyes were wide and cast down onto the floor. Watching his feet instead of where the two of you were going.

Which meant it was up to you to find the front doors to this airport. Compared to other airports this one was minuscule, but it was still decently sized. Thus meaning you had to search around for the right way to go.

You reached back and grabbed a hold of your dad's sweaty palm. Giving it a reassuring squeeze. You perked up when you saw the large glass doors ahead of you. Ok, finding the entrance was done, now to find your uncle.

you had absolutely no idea what either of them looked like. So you were kind of just looking around for someone who looked like they could be related to your dad.

You looked around, and could not see anybody that did. Were they even here yet? Did the plane land a bit early or were they just late?

Maybe my uncle is feeling just as scared to see my father again as my father is at seeing him. You thought to yourself. Looking around one more time.

Once more no sign of anyone and your dad did not say anything about seeing them either. You did, however, find a little cafe stand. You decided you would go get your dad and you some hot drinks since it was kind of chilly.

You told your dad to wait where you were standing before going off to get in the small line. It took only a couple of minutes to reach the front of the line where an old tan-skinned lady looked at you with raised eyebrows.

" What will it be kiddo?" She said in a voice that sounded like she had been smoking for fifty years.

" Ummm... I will have two medium hot F/D, please." You said, to which she nodded and turned around to get you your order. You paid for your drinks and turned around to find your dad again. Frowning when he was not where you left him.

Once again it was off to look for people, hey he might have just needed to use the bathroom real quick. You looked over at all the people in the entrance area, trying to find his familiar hair.
