Hellene's POV

I opened my eyes only to reveal two pair of eyes staring down at me. I felt comfortable so I assumed I was laying on a bed.

"Are you okay?" Percy asked as he saw my eyes open.

"I'm fine." I said maybe a bit too abruptly than needed.

"Are you su--" Percy started but I cut him off.

"I said I'm fine."

I stood up but my legs hurt so I dropped on my knees like a rock. Like a rock thrown inside a river. A river...

Nico immediately caught me. I got my balance back and waved his hands away.

"I can take care of myself." I stated as Nico shook his head.

"You're indeed a soldier." Percy said.

"Shut up!" I murmered.

"Where did that sudden confidence come from?" Nico asked leaving me on the floor.

"You are responsible for this." Percy turned to Nico.

"Me?!" Nico asked calmly. "Why me?!"

"She saved you back there, didn't she? You made her do it."

"I didn't make her do anything."

"What just happened?" I broke their conversation and shook my head to clear it out a bit.

"You--" Percy started but Nico put his hand on the Seaweed Brain's mouth.

That shocked them both but I just stared open eyed. Then, Nico spoke. "What's the last thing you remember?"

"I don't know," I said rubbing my forehead because I felt like soon my brain will explode. "It's... we were sitting down the river. Then, a hound attacked you and I..." I trailed of because I couldn't seem to remember anything after that.

"And then?" Percy asked pushing Nico away.

"I don't know." I finally said.

Both of the boys shared a look. They knew what happened but they seemed like they weren't going to give anything out.

"What happened?" I asked. "Nico, you were there. You must've seen something."

Nico sighed and gave Percy one last look. "I saw it."

"It?"

"The trident." He said.

"I am Poseidon's daughter?!" I almost screamed.

"Yes." Nico nodded.
