Nico looked up at Percy when his sister wrapped her hands around Hades' son. He had no idea what to do but Annabeth smiled. She knew how the girl felt so she pushed Percy out the door.

"They need some time alone." She whispered in her boyfriend's ear.

Percy wasn't really up for the idea of leaving his only sister in the creepy boy's hands but he was already outside his cabin.

"Is this a good idea?" He asked Annabeth as she nodded.

"Let them be," Athena's daughter commanded, "They remind me a lot of us."

"Was I that creepy?" Percy whispered back and Annabeth pushed him playfully.

"You weren't that smart, is all I'm gonna say." She smiled back at him as he hugged her.

"I hate that you always win." He kissed her and they walked away.

Nico patted Hellene's head seeing as the girl's sobs were going more silent.

"I'm sorry," She said wiping her tears away, "I don't know what got into me."

"It's okay," Nico assured her, "But why were you crying?"

"I...I...I can't remember," She told him and her expression showed she wasn't lying, "You were there but that's as far as I remember."

She sat cross legged on her bed and tried convincing herself that it was just a dream.

"Percy told me that sometimes demigods' dreams become true," She stared at Nico who looked at the ground and nodded, "But is this always or is it something rare?"

"I don't know. Normally, our dreams are just part of the story but they're also twisted so I'm not a hundred percent sure all dreams become or are reality," He explained and Hellene nodded with a thoughtful look. Nico reached for her hand looking at her eyes, "It's going to be better if you don't think about it now."

She stared back at him but Nico broke their glance as he helped her get up. She almost fell when her legs touched the ground but she used Nico to help her balance.

"How about we go to the lake," Nico suggested, "It'll cheer you up."

Hellene nodded and for a second she met the pair pitch black eyes. Percy had told her a lot about Nico, how he always pushes people away and never makes friends with anyone. To the girl this information seemed really wrong right now. This boy, who she barely knew, was here for her and that's all she needed to make up her own mind about him.

"Are you feeling better?" He asked as they stared at the blue sky which contrasted with the river's yellowish green color.

"A lot better," She answered and held her eyes in the sky for a couple more seconds, "Nico, can I ask you something?"

The boy moved his eyes down at her. "Yes." He said unsure.

"Why are you keeping everything to yourself?"

The boy, who thought was ready to answer everything, laid down on the grass. He had no right answer but the truth so he went with it.

"You know how Percy told you about Bianca, my sister," He started and Hellene nodded resting herself on the grass too, "Well, she became a huntress. At that time Artemis and her girls had found us and followed us to the camp. They stayed here for a while and after a day or so Zoë, their leader, went to the Oracle and it told her a prophecy so a quest was settled. Bianca was part of it and so were Zoë and Percy. I made Percy promise that he'll take care of my sister. But once they came back both Zoë and Bianca weren't with them. Then, I got mad for losing my only alive sibling and ran away from the camp. The past years I haven't visited the camp a lot because of-" Hellene looked up at Nico's face and his eyes were already forming tears.

She moved closer and hugged him and it was his turn to start crying.

"It's not okay to conseal your feelings." She said gently and pulled away.

Nico's face was a mess but she smiled sadly at him wiping his tears off his cheeks.

"It's okay." She reassured him as he tried stopping the waterfall that was coming from his eyes.

Then, with tears still streaming down his cheeks, he laughed quietly. Hellene had never heard him laugh before so her eyes widened but she was happy to see the boy smile.

"How did we change roles so quickly?" He asked through smile as they both laughed again.

Then, she pulled him closer and kissed him. She felt the warmth of his lips once they touched hers. The girl swallowed some of his tears as they were caught up in their passionate kiss. They pulled away desperate for air.

"I'm so sor-" She started but the boy silenced her with another kiss.

"You know, you apologize way too much." He whispered in her hair as they hugged tightly.
