Nathan yawned, leaning back, hearing the chair creak under his tired frame. He would gladly have his eyes plucked out of his sockets than have them burning and red in his skull.

He was very much alone in the control room, and he wondered if he had anything left to do today. No stats had been updated for the past ten hours.

He gasped, when a spark went off somewhere and the control room went entirely dark.

"The fuck." He exhaled heavily, adjusting his glasses.

"Nat." A colleague barged in, almost making him jump. He switched on his flashlight and gestured for him to move outside.

"Chief said, it is gonna take a while. Let's have a smoke."

Nathan adjusted his glasses. "Are you sure? Like-"

"Absolutely, mate. Let's just go."

Nathan looked back at the blank computer screen.

"Alright then."

Life of elites was pretty interesting, to say the least. Merriment and celebration every other day. Mind you, most of the time, without a proper reason. And in quite a similar way they could be quite (perhaps, entirely) unreasonable at times.

"Ahoy, Taehyung."

Taehyung paused his conversation, turning back and his smile only grew, "Hey, Jimin." The best friends collided in a hug.

"Ah, finally." Taehyung rolled his eyes, pulling back.

Jimin clicked his tongue. "I'm so damn sorry. I couldn't fly off from Korea with you. I had a photoshoot-"

"It's okay, Minnie." Taehyung mused, gripping the other's palms tightly. "C'mon! You've got someone to meet." He pulled Jimin to the person he was talking to earlier.

"Oh, I know who it is." Jimin sighed, rolling his eyes mentally. If not for Taehyung, he would have kicked Jongin off a cliff already.

"Hey, lover boy." He managed a smile, "Can't let go of him for a single second, can you?"

"You know how I love him, Jimin-ah." Jongin shrugged, wrapping an arm around Taehyung's back.

Yeah, for the money, Jimin thought.

"And Minnie." Taehyung giggled as he circled his arms around Jongin's bicep, "Our engagement is fixed within a month."

Jimin gaped, "Wait- what? When did that happen?"

"Just yesterday."

Jimin tried not to frown. He wondered if it was a good idea.

He chuckled, trying to sound playful, "You didn't tell me."

"The marriage of two orangutans shouldn't be a big deal to you, Jimin. Don't be so affronted. You have other things worth your attention."

Taehyung huffed, stomping his foot, as he turned around with a glare. "Oh, hold it, Jeonshit. No-one's talking to you!"

"Ah, well. I am just suggesting what's good for my friend." Jeongguk shrugged, standing beside Jimin, who rolled his eyes. "I can't with you two."

Jongin just gave a mechanical smile. He did not want to mess with this Jeon.

"Anyway. Nice to meet you, Jeongguk-ah." Jimin smiled, hugging him.

"Could say the same." Jeongguk patted his back, before letting him go.

Taehyung mimicked him, letting out a scoff. He pulled Jongin along with him, away from the other two, "Let's go, Honey." He waved at Jimin, "Take rest, Minnie. I'll catch up with you later on. And you too, coconut." Taehyung stuck his tongue out, immediately leaving the place.
