"You mean to say, it was a fucking government intelligence failure and still we are being asked to act rationally?" Namjoon growled at the commissioner's face, who just sighed.
"We have nothing to do about this. No one could have survived the climate, Mr. Kim. You need to understand."
"And whose fault is that, may I ask?" Junghyun chuckled sardonically, his eyes equally deathly, as he gently gripped Namjoon's shoulder to hold him back from doing something he would regret later.
Nathan shook like a leaf, standing in one corner. He had never thought it would come to such a blunder.
"I am so sorry, sir. I never knew the systems were not backed up-"
"As the systems' clerk, it was your job!" The manager yelled and the commissioner glared at him.
"As the manager it was yours to look after the proper functioning of your unit. How can circuits blow up in such a crucial unit like weather reporting? You realise how careless of you it was to not have checked it up, don't you?"
The addressed man trembled, bowing, "I'm so sorry, sir-"
"I'll make sure you are demoted instantly. Get ready to receive your transfer order."
"Sir, pleas-"
"This isn't the time for all this." Jimin intervened, eyes frantic, "It is your duty to find them. I don't know anything, alright? It is the fault of your government. You should take responsibility."
The commissioner sighed. "This isn't how it works, sir-"
"Oh, you don't teach us that." Chanyeol grumbled, "We could have you out of your jobs this instant and all you would be able to do is stand aside and watch helplessly. If you don't want the matter to reach the higher authorities, send a search team immediately."
The commissioner deflated, shaking his head a little. "We surely will, sir."

Taehyung sighed, washing the blade and slapping some water on his cheeks. He smiled satisfied at his now clean and shaved face, the way he loved it the most.
The sun was almost above his head, and it was a scorching hot day, after two consecutive cloudy ones. The weather here was too exhausting for someone from the temperate belts. But, still they had managed to survive for approximately ten days on this island.
He strolled out of the door, leaves crunching under his shoes, as he planned on having a good bath at the lake. During the day, it was not like they always stayed together. They stayed by themselves and Taehyung tried not wandering around too much into the forest and get lost again.
He hummed a tune, looking around at all the green around him as he followed the permanent trail, which they used to reach the lake. But, in the next few seconds, he found his feet halting, and his eyes eventually widening, at the sound that reached his perked up ears.
It was obviously Jeongguk as they were alone in the isle. But, the cause of the red tint on Taehyung's cheeks were the low grunts and pants that were coming from a bit of a distance. He left the trail to the lake, to follow the noises, with soft hesitant steps, as he found himself crossing a few tall trees.
He couldn't help but think that Jeongguk was jerking off in the middle of the forest, and though the thought gave him shivers, he could not stop himself.
And when he had followed the sounds, he found his lips parting in awe, at the sight in a small clearing. It was definitely Jeongguk, but Taehyung wanted to berate himself for having such wild thoughts, because the younger was doing nothing like that. Well, they were in a wild and remote island, so it was a given that his thoughts would be similar too.
