"Jeongguk?" Taehyung mumbled.
"Yeah?"
Taehyung rolled around to look at Jeongguk who was busy meddling with some wires in the radio. Taehyung placed his head down on the floor with a thump.
"What should I do now?" He whispered, kind of hoping that the other didn't hear it, but he actually did.
"About what?"
Taehyung sighed, looking out at the few stars that were peeking out from the clouds.
"About Jongin. Everybody knows that we are going to get engaged next month. Invitati-"
"First of all, Taehyung..." Jeongguk cut him off with a sigh, and Taehyung focused his stare back on him.
"It is not at all certain when we will be able to leave this island, or if we are ever gonna leave this place after all." He stated, and he could notice the glint of disappointment and fright in Taehyung's eyes. But, he had to come to terms with the truth someday.
"Secondly... Are you being serious now?" He placed the radio down, looking up at him with a sarcastic grin, "You will get engaged to someone just because everyone is invited? May the good Lord give you some brains! You're so stupid, Tae-hyung-ie!"
Taehyung huffed, sitting up and pushing him backwards, rather harshly, "You're an arsehole, Jeonshit!"
The action caused Jeongguk to roll over on his back and his shoulder hit the edge of the table, making him hiss at the slight sting.
"Shit!" Taehyung gasped, clapping his hands to his mouth, as he sat up, panicked. "Oh my God! Oh my God!" He pulled Jeongguk's hand to make him lie on his side as he peeked over at his back.
"I'm so sorry!" He bit his lower lip, his face pulled up in a cute frown, which caused the younger to chuckle.
"It looks like you are the one who got hurt, Trixie."
Taehyung groaned, tugging at his vest. "Shut up and show me."
"It's fine. It barely hurts, Tae."
"No! Let me see." Taehyung ushered him to sit up and Jeongguk silently did. He pursed his lips to hide his wide smile, when the blond walked on his knees, just to kneel behind him.
"What do you intend on seeing again?" Jeongguk raised a brow at the wall and earned a smack on his head. He groaned playfully, pulling his vest over his head and heard Taehyung sigh.
"I don't see blood. But, I need to redo the bandage."
"Go ahead, Mr. professional." Jeongguk mused and Taehyung rolled his eyes, settling behind him with the first-aid box.
"I still have command over the scissors, mind you."
"And what are you going to do with them? Commit homicide? On a completely innocent and defenceless and respectable citizen of the Republic of Korea-"
"Wait a minute. I'm gonna stop you right there." Taehyung cackled. "Innocent and you shouldn't be placed in the same sentence. And you are anything but defenceless, alright? And for the respectable part, don't be delusional, Jeon."
Taehyung giggled, when Jeongguk huffed, crossing his arms on his chest. He pulled off the band-aid and gauze, running his fingertips softly over the cut, which had healed considerably.
"Just kill me already, will you? And be over with those icy words." Jeongguk complained, with a sulk in his voice and Taehyung found it quite adorable.
"If I wanted you dead, you wouldn't have seen the light of your adulthood, Jeon Jeongguk." Taehyung patted his unhurt shoulder, applying the gel on his cut.
