chapter 10: euphoria

"I'm sorry.." he whispered head facing the ground as he felt tears starting to form in his eyes, he regretted his actions because of the result that changed his life. "I should've went to her when she called out for me." he stated before looking at the middle aged man sitting beside him.
The room went quiet, silence was too loud that you can hear a pin drop at any moment. Both men remained quiet, not speaking to each other. The beeping sounds echoed around the room and later on followed by the sobs coming from one of the guys.
"It's all my fault, I'm too dumb."
The vehicle came to a stop at a peaceful and beautiful place, "You should really shut your mouth now." Vince stated as the three of them hopped out the car. The beautiful scenery appeared in her view that forms a smile on her face. "If you kept talking they might hear us." V stated once again before walking closer to the girl. Calum let out a scoff before standing beside the two with bags in his hands. "Stop exaggerating, the house is too far for them to hear us." Calum said before intertwining his hands with the girl beside him. Vince let out a sigh before dragging himself across the stone road. The four of them parked the car away from the main house so that they can sneakily let the young girl inside the room she'll be staying in.
Their 'home' did felt like home. There were houses around their place but not that close that the neighbors could hear their loudness. The house were just beside a beautiful lake that for sure some people uses to catch fishes to eat or sell. The trees were also mainly seen in the area as the place is obviously Gangwon Province. The boys were right when they said that she'd feel at ease when they stay here. She felt calm, away and free from all of the troubles that are eating her up alive.
"Okay so.. she'll stay at the floating house then?" Calum asked as he looked at the two older boys making Eli let out a hum while nodding his head. "I mean it'll be safe.. as long as no one comes there." He said before looking around the area. "I think some of them are out." He stated as the three of them reached the front part of the house. "You'll probably get confused by this later." Calum whispered towards Lucine's ear making her flinch from the sudden closure. "Cal go show her the room she'll be staying in while me and Vince will look around the place to check if the other guys are here." Eli added as Calum only nodded his head before pulling her to go to a small house.
Lucine couldn't help but widen her eyes when she saw where she'll be staying in making Calum let out a smile as the two of them set their feet to the floating house. The house was floating in the water just beside the lake. It has two rooms that are opposite to eachother, the house was painted in white, there are Canoe boats and even fishing rods that are set aside probably for the boys to use. "This is where I stay.. I'm away from the other members so you'll be good here as long as no one comes into your room." He said chuckling before opening the door infront of his room. "And! Also don't go to that tent.. Jay hyung stays there. And don't go to that camper van since Cody hyung also stays there." He said making Luna raise an eyebrow but nodded her head anyways.
