chapter 2: calum hudson
third person's.
The sun shines outside the window as the chirping sounds from the birds wake her up from her rest.
"Where am I?" She wondered in her head as she scanned the room—white walls, a balcony? She can't remember anything that happened. How did she get into this room?
She cleared her throat and sat up straight. She glanced at the mirror near the bed, noticing her current state, before letting out a sigh. The door opens, finally revealing a young boy who smiles beautifully at her. He looked so bright, and he had a pretty smile as well. He closed the door behind him before walking closer to the bewildered young lady. He gave her a glass of water before giving her another smile.
"Who are you?" was the first sentence that came out of her mouth to the smiling boy sitting beside her. She took a sip of the water before turning her attention to the good-looking boy.
"Did you save me?" She asked. The boy beside her shook his head, making her confused. She quickly stood up, removing all the things that were connected to her body, before backing away from the boy.
His charming smile faded as he watched the terrified girl back away from him. He tried to take a step near her, but she shook her head before backing away even further from him.
"N-no, miss. You must've mistaken." he worriedly said before looking at the younger girl. He walked towards the door, opening it a bit.
"Cal!" He yelled as he peeked his head outside the room, calling for someone.
"I asked, who..who are you?" She said quietly enough for him to hear.
"My friend found you..I..You should just talk-"
"I asked, Who are you?" She said as she looked around. This is definitely not a hospital. This isn't a hospital.
"Am I..kidnapped?" She looked around before walking towards the balcony, opening the door. "W-wait, what are you doing?!" The guy said before walking towards her.
"Please calm down. My friend will explain everything, I promise!" He said, trying to take the younger girl away from the balcony.
"Thank goodness! Go talk to her." he said as another guy came into the room. Lucine looked at them both with a confused look as she quietly sat down on the bed.
"Hey?" The other guy greeted her as the first one left the two. "Well, isn't that rude? You should at least greet me back. I saved your life after all." he said, making the younger girl let out a scoff.
