chapter 5: apart
third person's.
The morning sun shines brightly as the sounds of the birds chirping was heard making the young girl wake up from her sleep. Lucine lets out a yawn rubbing her eyes with her right hand before snuggling closer to her pillow.
She knows that today is the day that she'll be going back to her 'home' but decided to sleep in since it is the only time she gets to have sleep without her step mother ordering her around the house. The thought of sleeping in another person's house embarrassed her but she had to be brave enough to finally escape.
She snuggled closer to her pillow before pulling the comforter to cover her body because of the cold. She lets out a small smile before letting out a deep breathe while the sounds of birds was heard outside.
She felt something move beside her as something heavy was now draped to her waist making her jolt up awake. Eyes widening at the sight of a man that lays down beside her, the white sheets of the comforter covering the face of the man making him completely unknown.
Lucine looks down at herself before letting out a scream pushing the man away from her making him fall from the bed.
"YAH! Who are you?!"
"I-I... Who are you?!" she asked as she looks at the man on the floor before pulling the sheets away from him. Her eyes travelled around the room before landing on some luggage by the end of the bed before making eye contact to the man once again.
"What is it?!" The door burst open as a sleep Calum entered the room swinging his arms around before stumbling on the unknown man making him fall to the floor as well. Eli soon walked in the scene letting out few laughs as he saw the bewildered young boy on the ground.
"Hyung?" The two boys stood up before crushing eachother with a big hug, Eli smiled before joining the hug. Lucine quietly stood up feeling lost at the random reunion that is curenlty happening. She felt bad kicking the unknown man to the floor since it looks like he's one of the residence of the house as well.
She eyed the three young fine men feeling so lost before looking down at her fingers. Soon enough the three break out from their hug smiling at each other. Calum's eyes landed on Luna seeing her current state before letting out an awkward laugh.
"Hyung I don't want to sound rude but I just wanted to ask why are you here?" Calum asked as he looks back the unknown man before scratching the back of his neck. His eyes landed on his friend's luggage by the end of the bed before looking at Lucine once again.
