We where both quiet on our way to the square, I still shiver from that encounter..Falik didn't say anything when I left and followed, I think he knows what's going on, but all I can think about is what Mauro said. All those places...things seem to be coming together but so many pieces are still missing.
“He’s actually a really good guy..” Falik said in the awkward silence.
“He was threatening me!” I almost shouted.
“Well that wasn't him..” He sighed “You must have noticed a little bit of his split personality..”
I nodded “He seemed to be rethinking everything..”
“He’s a halfling if you haven't guessed..his two elements are somewhat conflicting..giving him two personalities, that was his bad side. But i've met his good side.” Something told me the conversation was over and I stayed quiet.
“Who are the keepers..and why did he say that they..” The thought reoccurred to me mind ‘Halflings like us Midnight are special, Keepers are idiots..you know how many Halflings lives they've taken’ and like he was reading my mind he answered.
“The Keepers are complicated..something else I think you should remember on your own” It was so frustrating, yesterday I was sitting through lectures about summer assignments and blah blah blah, but I was normal.
Today and last night..it just felt like it was way too much to take in I just felt so lost...
hey guys! Sorry I havent updated in a while >.<
Kinda having writers block..
Hopefully I'm going to have a long chapter coming out soon
