My Commander~ ? x Reader story

"See, the transportations most recent history is one to beam down to planet Zila" Geordi said, he was there to check the history.

Then O'Brien cut in, (he regained consciousness and immediately wanted to get in the game) "So that means Lore is there, naked or not"

"Ah" Data said.

"You five should beam down, and set phasers to kill" Picard said, he was there now too.

"If you say so" Riker shrugged.

"Captain, setting a phaser to kill will not have an impact on Lore, since we are Androids-" Data began to explain.

"Yes, Mister Data, I know" Picard cut him off before pointing to the transporter.

Data nodded and joined you, Geordi, Worf and Riker on the beam.

"Energize" Riker ordered.

When you all beamed down, you beamed on a beach, you all began looking around when you saw a man coming towards you all.

"Y/n, is that you?" The man asked, with a smile on his face.

"Oh my goodness" Geordi said, laughing.

You squinted your eyes to try and recognize him.

"Oh look, it's John" You sighed.

Data furrowed his eyebrows, and began to walk over to show you off again. Even though you were no longer his. Before he got there, Riker swooped in. Riker turned his head to look at Data with a competitive look on his face.

"Oh, shit" Geordi laughed even more, noticing the look whilst Worf became clueless to what was happening.

John didn't even say anything, he just looked back and fourth from Riker and Data, and with a panicked look on his face he ran away. Riker quickly moved back to where he was standing.

"Anyways" Worf said, blinking in confusion "Geordi, you're with Data and Y/n, and Riker, you're with me" Worf exclaimed "Report immediately if you find anything"

"The old trio, back again!" Geordi said, putting his arms around the both of you as he came in the middle.

Riker looked at you all, scoffed and walked away with Worf. As you, Data and Geordi began walking you immediately went into the woods. Geordi, on purpose began walking behind you two so you would forget he was there. And for a minute, you did.

"Data, are you okay?" You asked.

"I am sorry?" He asked back.

"You should be asking me if I'm okay, but you aren't so I'm asking you" You explained.

"Ah" He said "I am okay" He added.

But Data wasn't okay. He did not like how much time he was spending away from you. Not only does he miss your romantic feelings that he doesn't think you even had(Data has very low confidence so he didn't think you liked him in that way to begin with, even though you clearly did) But he just missed your friendship. He missed how you would talk, late at night, he missed how much you two got along he hated being away from you but he didn't want to seem like he was making his mind up by communicating with you again. He knew he had known you shorter than anyone else on the Enterprise, but he felt more attached to you than any of his friends. He knew the tremendous age gap between the two of you and he put that inside but now he wouldn't stop reminding himself of it. Basically, he wasn't okay. He lied.

"Are you sure?" You asked.

"Yes" He replied.

And he lied again.
