Q and another kiss

At the bridge, Data and Riker weren't there yet, no one was in Riker's chair and Worf was where Data normally is.

"Okay, that's it" Picard mumbled "Officer, y/k, get Riker and if you are not back in five minutes I will come and get him myself" Picard said.

"Yes, sir" You said, getting up.

When you got into Riker's quarters, you were scared he would bring up last night.

"Hello, y/k" Riker said, with his hands over his face.

"How are you holding up?" You asked.

"Head hurts, I'm insanely hungover" He sighed.

"Ah..." You said "Do you want to...talk about it?" You asked.

"Talk about what?" He asked back.

"Last night..what you did...?" You tried reminding him.

"What did I do?" Riker asked, confused.

You sighed with relief that he didn't remember.
Then, Picard came in.

"I've got in from here, officer, thank you" Picard assured you.

You nodded with a smile and left.

"You alright, number one?" Picard asked, smiling.

"No..." Riker mumbled.

"Hungover?" Picard asked.

"Dag on right!" Riker said "Not only that..." Riker sighed.

"Oh?" Picard asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I kissed her" Riker said, smacking his forehead.

"Oh, dear" Picard sighed.

Meanwhile, you were at your station when Data finally got there. You two looked at each other for three seconds before he broke it off. Worf moved so Data could sit where he had been.

You looked back to Picard to announce you were going to the bathroom, when he wasn't there you turned to Riker's chair so you could tell him, but he wasn't there either so you just got up and went. When you got into a hall, about ten yards later Geordi stopped you.

"Do you really want to know what Q made the fake you do?" Geordi asked.

"I don't exactly know.." You said "Do I?" You asked.

"I'll just give you some idea" Geordi said "Q made you be interested in Data, yes, but he made you be interested in his..fully functional body too" Geordi explained.

Your eyebrows raised "Um..wow..okay.." You said "Why did Q do that?" You asked.

"Because it would bother Data, like..a lot" Geordi told you "and it did"

"Yes, it did" You heard Data say from behind you.

You and Geordi turned around to see Data right there, you never realized how tall he was. Well, he's only 5'10 but that's still a whole lot taller than you.

"Hey, Data..." Geordi smiled nervously.

"Hey, are you okay?" You asked.

"Of course, I am" Data assured you "I have no reason not to be" He said.

"Data, you can talk to me" You said.

"There is nothing to talk to you about, you and I should get back to the bridge" He said "I will see you later in the day, Commander LaForge" He nodded before walking away.

You followed him.

"How was it?" Data asked, breaking the silence.

"I'm sorry?" You asked, unclear to what he was talking about.
