C H A P T E R 4

Tenten was soon discharged from the hospital, and she went back to her house. Everything was cleaned up, Hinata was with her. Tenten was still using crutches for one of her legs. She went inside the house, and Hinata helped her. Hinata was worried something bad would happen to her so she looked after her. Her other friends were busy, and Tenten's team were on a new mission. She wanted to join the mission but wasn't allowed to, since she still had to recover. Tenten went inside the house and it was still the same before the attack. Hinata poured a cup of tea and gave it to Tenten. She thanked her and drank the tea. Hinata smiled at her. They talked for a while, and it was getting dark. Hinata left, and it was just Tenten alone. Tenten decided to go to sleep for tomorrow.

      Two months had passed. It was bright early in the morning, Tenten washing her clothes. She then decided to take a break. Tenten was in deep thought, 'What should I do today? After doing my laundrys, I'm probably gonna go hang out with Hinata' Tenten then put her clothes on the racket. When she was finally done she noticed someone coming towards her. She noticed it and turned around. "Hello? Can I help you?" It was a man in his mid-40s, he looked tired. He looked at her. "Are you tenten?" Tenten nodded, "Yes, have we met before-" Before she could finish the man hugged her. Tenten pushed him away. "Excuse me?" The man was in tears, "Tenten I'm your father." Tenten was speechless. She was overwhelmed, she was angry, sad, and somewhat happy. "Father?" The man nodded. Tenten was angry, "What do you want?" Was all what Tenten could say. It was silent they could hear the birds chirping. "I'm sorry Tenten..." Tenten shook her head in anger, "It has been SO MANY YEARS!" Tears were falling down her cheeks. "And now you came back? Where were you when I needed you. You can't just abandon me, and come back into my life so suddenly. You ran away with another mistress! I don't want to hear any excuses, so leave me be! I don't want you back in my life." With that she then left him there.

      She went to the rivers. She sat down on a rock and looked at the river. It was a beautiful scenery, she then skipped rocks. An hour had passed, but her mind wasn't cleared. She then decided to go hang out with Hinata, thinking that she would probably make her feel better. She arrived at Hyuga's Manor. She walked past Neji's room heading to Hinata's room. She looked around but Hinata wasn't in the room. She then went to Neji's room. She knocked before going in. Neji looked at her, Tenten asked "Have you seen Hinata?" Neji shook his head, while keeping his eye on the books."She's probably taking a shower." Tenten thanked him before leaving. Neji looked at her one last time before she left. He sighed, 'What is this weird feeling, why can't I shake it off.' Tenten laid down on Hinata's bed. Tenten and Hinata have an amazing friendship. They always tell each other everything, they also do it with the rest of the girls but sometimes they're too busy.

      Hinata finished showering and got out of the bathroom, startled. "Tenten you scared me. You're here early, I was gonna what time you're coming." Tenten then put on her fake smile. "Hi Hinata! Sorry I didn't mean to startle you. Haha..." Hinata asked, "You're here early today. You're always usually late, or too lazy to come. Did anything happen today?" Tenten shook her head, "Nope the same as usual you know. I was bored..." They decided to have a sleepover, since Tenten didn't want to go back home, and plus there wasn't anyone waiting for her.

     It was midnight. Hinata was asleep, and Tenten was just staring at the ceiling. She got up and tucked Hinata's arm in the blanket. It was raining and Tenten couldn't sleep. She stared out the window, wishing everything would go back to the way before. She would still have her grandmother, and her dad never came back into her life. Tenten went to use the bathroom. When she came back she noticed Neji's door was slightly opened. Neji's door was usually closed, so Tenten decided to peek and see what Neji was doing. She noticed he was laying on the bed probably asleep. Tenten was about to close the door but Neji called her name. Tenten then came in, noticing Neji was awake. "I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" Neji shook his head, "No I was already awake. What are you doing up this late?" Neji made space for Tenten. "I just went to use the bathroom. I couldn't sleep." Tenten sat down next to Neji on the bed. Tenten looked out the window. Neji looked at Tenten, "Is something wrong?" Tenten smiled at him, "Everything's fine, thanks." Neji knew Tenten was lying but wished Tenten would just tell him. Neji looked at Tenten, "Your hair looks pretty when it's down. You should let it down more often." Neji then realized what he said, and was embarrassed. Tenten blushed, and thanked him. They talked for a while and Tenten then fell asleep. Neji smiled at how Tenten is sleeping so peacefully. Neji didn't want to wake up Tenten, so he just let her sleep there.

        It was really early in the morning and Tenten woke up. It was comfortable, and warm. She hugged it closer, thinking it was a pillow. She opened her eyes and saw Neji. She froze, her heart was thumping fast. She noticed how Neji was sleeping so peacefully, but remembered what happened yesterday. Her face was completely red, she felt her face burning. She was also cuddling him, she took her hand away slowly. Then Hinata ran into the room. "Neji have you seen Tenten-" Then Hinata saw Tenten in the same bed as Neji, cuddling him. Neji then woke up. He rubbed his eyes, and sat up. He noticed Tenten and then his memories flooded back to him. His face went red, and Hinata was speechless. Tenten told Hinata, "Hinata! This isn't what you think it is, I just accidentally-" Hinata's eyes were wide, and smirked. "Sorry to disturb you guys. I just remembered something, I will come back later, bye!" Hinata backed away, and closed the door. Neji was trying to process everything through. Tenten covered her face with her hand embarrassed. "I'm so sorry Neji! I forgot I accidentally fell asleep in your room. I will leave right now. I'm so sorry!" Tenten quickly got out of bed, and ran out, not looking back. Neji groaned, covering himself with the pillow. 'What was I thinking, sleeping in the same bed as Tenten! What would Tenten think of me...'

       Tenten quickly ran into Hinata's room. Hinata was changing. "Woah Tenten what happened?" Tenten groaned, "How am I gonna face him later. We were just talking and I accidentally fell asleep." Hinata sat down next to Tenten. "So, how did it feel?" Tenten put the pillow down and sat up straight, looking at Hinata. "How did it feel sleeping with Neji?" Tenten's face went red as a tomato, "Hinata!" Hinata apologized while laughing, "Haha, sorry." Tenten sighed, "Thanks for letting me sleepover, I have to go." Hinata asked, "This early? Can't you leave later, we still haven't had breakfast. You usually stay here longer." Hinata then smirked. "Ooh I get it! Is it because of Neji?' Tenten shook her head, "No! What made you think that." Tenten felt her face burning a little, from embarrassment. Hinata gave her that look. Tenten sighed, "Okay, maybe a tiny it." Hinata chuckled, "Pleasee Tenten . Just stay here a little bit longer, plus you need to eat breakfast. It isn't good for you to skip it. Tenten thought about it then nodded. "Okay fine." Hinata smiled "Yay, okay you should go get ready now." Tenten nodded, "Ok thanks." and went to grab her clothes.
