C H A P T E R 7

After a quick hot shower, I came out and Ino had a dress with her hand. "Here wear this." Tenten looked at it. "Do I have to wear this?" It was a dark red color dress. "Yes, unless you want to wear your sticky clothes, and here's the heels to wear." Tenten groaned, "Okay fine." It looked beautiful, the dark red dress, but Tenten rarely wore heels. She quickly got changed. "Let me style your hair." Tenten shook her head, "I'm good thanks!" Ino gave her a look. "Okay fine!" She changed the style of her hair. "Pretty! Now we're ready to go!" Ino said cheerfully. Tenten carefully looked at the mirror. "I hate to say this but I like it, thanks Ino!" They hurriedly went back to the club, hoping they weren't gone for too long. (Look at the top, that's the picture of Tenten's outfit)

When she came back the first thing she noticed was Neji. He went to her. "I heard what happened to you. I'm sorry for not being there." He then noticed her hair style. "Wow Tenten... you look amazing in that dress, and your hairstyle it's beautiful." Tenten blushed, her heart was pounding."Oh thank you, I decided to change up the style. Wanna dance?" Neji nodded, but he didn't know how to dance. They went to the dance floor, but Neji was just standing there. "Do you know how to dance?" Tenten asked. Neji, shaked his head. "No." "Then do you want me to teach you?" He nodded. "You only have to move your body however you want. Start by listening to the song rhythm..." Neji wasn't quite listening, he was focused on looking at Tenten. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. They ended up having a fun time. Tenten had a lot of drinks and Kaiya ended up leaving the party, since no one wanted her there, and told her to leave.

"Tenten, stop drinking, that's enough." Temari said, taking the cup away from her. "No! Just let me drown in sorrow. " They were playing a game, and Tenten kept losing to Temari. "Temari's right, you're gonna have a bad headache in the morning tomorrow." Sakura said. "I'll bring her home." Kiba said. "No, I will." Neji said quickly. "We all know, hahaha. I'm just joking with you, don't worry no one will steal your girl." Neji didn't deny it. The whole group noticed their relationship. "Tenten come on, get up." He carefully helped her stand up. She then fell back down. "I don't wanna leave." He sighed, and decided to carry her. He said goodbye to them, and left.

"Wow, you're surprisingly lighter than I thought." He said quietly to himself. He didn't mind carrying her on his back. He wished he could carry her for the rest of his lives. When they arrived at her house, he asked her where her keys were. She gave him her keys. "I'm going to-" She then threw up on Neji. He then groaned, and carried her to the bed. And quickly took off his shirt, and washed it. He was glad that it only got on his shirt, and not anywhere else. He took off her shoes, and tucked her under the cover. He couldn't leave anytime soon, since his shirt isn't dried up yet. He was about to leave Tenten's room, but she grabbed him by the hand unknowingly still drunk. "Don't leave me..." Neji sighed, "You're still drunk, let me get you warm water." "No! I want you to stay by my side." She said, and grabbed him by the wrist and pulled him closer. He lost his balance, and kissed her by accident. His face went bright red, and pulled back. 'Her lip felt soft... What are you thinking.' He thought to himself. He then sat down on a chair next to her bed. He was also tired, so he fell asleep.

The bird was chirping, and Neji woke up early. He remembered what happened yesterday night, and blushed. He wore his black shirt that had dried up overnight. He made her medicine for hangovers, and while he sat down on the couch, he noticed something particular that caught his eyes. There was a letter, and a necklace. He knew to be better than that. He's not that type of person who pry on other people's business. 'But what if it's another person who likes her. No, I'm not gonna mind other people's business." He stood up and decided to leave her a note before leaving early.

'Ugh, my head is pounding. But how did I end up here.' She looked at her nightstand, there was a note. "The soup is in the kitchen on the counter. -Neji" She tried hard to remember what happened last night. 'I only remember drinking, everything else was blurry. Think harder Tenten. I don't remember anything... He carried me here, he tucked me into bed, that's all I remember. I dreamed that I kissed him, but that felt so real. Yea right. He wouldn't kiss me, would he?' She just decided to forget it and thank him later. The soup helped her a lot. 'Wow, this soup is surprisingly a good cure for hangovers.' She decided to get change, and put her hair into two buns like always. Before leaving, she saw the necklace, picture, and letters on the table. She hurriedly, took it. 'Did Neji see it? I hope not.' She put it in her nightdrawer. She held the heart shaped necklace. She noticed something different. It was a heart shaped locket. She opened it, and saw a picture of the three of them. A little Tenten smiling holding hands with her mother and father. They were all happy, and smiling at each other. 'If only the happiness lasted longer...'

While walking to Temari's place she saw Kaiya and other people. 'Wow can't believe she made some friends.' Tenten thought to herself. She snapped out her thought when someone called her name. It was Kaiya and her friends. "Tenten! How are you? I'm so sorry about yesterday's accident." Tenten faked a smile, "Oh it's fine! I already forgave you-" Kaiya interrupted her, "What a lovely necklace you're wearing." Tenten instinctively put her hand to her necklace. "Thank you for noticing it, this necklace is very precious to me." Tenten felt something was off. "Umm.. I have to go, so please excuse me." She turned away and was going to start walking, but a friend of Kaiya grabbed her wrist. "Hi I don't think we have met yet. My name is Mielle, and this guy's name is Ryo." She said letting go of her wrist. "Nice to meet you guys." Tenten said. "Where are you going?' Kaiya asked. It was starting to get under Tenten's skin. "None of your concern" Tenten mumbled to herself. "What? Sorry I couldn't hear it, can you please speak up?" Sakura then came. Hey Tenten! Let's get going shall we?" Sakura said as she linked her with Tenten. Tenten quickly nodded and they left.

"Thanks Sakura, you came at the perfect timing." Sakura smiled, "No problem, I hate her gut. Just something about her doesn't seem right, and she's also very devious so you should stay away from her as far as possible." Tenten sighed, "You're right, but the thing is that she's an exchange student who is part of our team. I still have to train with her. There's no way I can stay away from her." They decided to talk about something else while walking to Temari's place.

They decided to hang out since Temari is leaving the Leaf village tomorrow. They all noticed Tenten was wearing a necklace, since Tenten never wore an accessory. They all asked why Tenten decided to wear a necklace all of sudden. She didn't want to tell them about it, and found an excuse. She decided to go get a drink of water, so she went to the kitchen. She bumped into someone, and spilled water on him. She quickly grabbed a napkin trying to wipe it. "I'm so sorry Gaara, I didn't notice you." Gaara holds her hand to stop her from wiping. "It's fine I can do it myself." Tenten nodded, and Gaara let go of her hand. She had met him a few times. He has fair skin, green emerald eyes with short auburn hair. He has a carved kanji for "love" on the left side of his forehead. Tenten got snapped out of her thought when he decided to excuse himself and left.

Tenten had quietly walked back into the living room. They were playing a board game. So far Hinata was in the lead, and Ino was losing. Tenten just decided to watch them play. As they were leaving they all gave Temari a hug and left. "Come again soon Temari, we'll miss you, especially Shikamaru." Ino said smirking. They all chuckled, Temari nodded, "I'll really miss you guys." Hinata and Tenten were going the same way, and it was quite dark, and cold. "Do you wanna have a sleepover at my house? It's pretty dark outside here, and your house is quite far." Tenten thought about it, and linked arms with Hinata, "Let's go!" Tenten said cheerfully.

While walking they heard some bushes move. They were alerted, and cautious of their surroundings. "Come out of the bush" Tenten said slowly taking out her kunais. It was only Naruto, "Hi Tenten, hi Hinata, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you guys." Hinata blushed slightly, "I-It's fine Naruto." Tenten put her kunias back. "What are you doing out here so late?" Naruto asked, scratching his head. "We were walking back, but then we heard noises." Naruto nodded, "Want me to walk you two back?" Hinata looked at Tenten, and she nodded. "I-It's fine, you d-don't h-have to N-Naruto." Naruto shaked his head. "Nah, then let's go. It's not safe for you two." Tenten rolled her eyes smiling, she can clearly see they were flirting with each other. She decided to walk a few steps in front to give them space.

Sadly for Hinata they soon arrived. Hinata and Tenten said goodbye to Naruto, and went inside the manor. It was very quiet, and they went inside. They quickly got changed and went into bed. "So, what's the relationship between you two?" Tenten whispered quietly to Hinata, who was laying down next to her. Hinata only stuttered when she was around Naruto. Everyone knew she likes him. It was clearly obvious, and her face turned bright red like a tomato when Naruto talks to her or something. "Well.... We only hung out together a few times." Tenten was surprised, "Really? That's amazing, how come you never told me before? Tell me everything." Hinata then started explaining. "He had asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and scroll around a park once, and I agreed. Then we sat down on a bench, and we started talking. Then when he left he said he had a good time, and asked if I wanted to hang out again..." They talked for hours before going to sleep.
