For the past three days I've been thinking of a way to tell Olive and Camilla about my situation. But I just cant bring myself to do it. How do you tell your best friends that your mother and her abusive boyfriend died and you are moving to America with your father and siblings you didnt know about. So I have decided not to tell them.
Miss Lyra is now on her way over because she has discuss some thing before we leave today in the afternoon. She has been very nice to me and for the past 3 days came over every morning to check on me. She gets that I dont open up easily, and doesn't force me to talk to her or anything. She has actually been very helpful since my mother has passed away she reminds me somewhat of her. She gets that I dont like talking about the topic so she doesn't bring it up.
I am not doing the dishes when I heard a knock at the door and I went to go get it. It was Miss Lyra. "Hello Lily come in" I said to her. And I led her to the living room. "Well I am here to discuss some thing before we leave" she said. "Okay". "I will get a room at hotel nearby there house and I'll say there for a few days to see how you agust, and if your doing well I will come back to here and do monthly check ups" she said. "I will also be here at five in the afternoon to pick you up and go to the airport." I nodded. "So how are you holding up?" She asked me. I decided not to worry her so I said "I'm fine" with a lovely smile.
After a couple of hours of us talking she said she had to go handle other cases so we said our goodbyes.
I decided since I have a couple hours before I leave for my flight I will go say goodbye to everyone. So I made my way upstairs and grabbed my phone, bag, and keys.
I went to the first place to mind. It was a field that Olive, Camilla and I would go to. After school I would wait for them out there they would tell me stories about school, I would be listening to Camilla stories, and Olive would be interrupting her every five seconds and they would start fighting or I would get dragged into it. We would laugh after it thought. We also had picnics here.
Before I knew it I was already here.
FlashBack I am waiting for Olive and Camilla to get out of school and I'm getting tired so I decided to lay down and close my eyes. When I opened my eyes I saw the looking over at me. I sat up and asked them how was school. "How was school guys". "Well it was so boring, all the teachers are annoying and they-" Camilla said but got interrupted by Olive "Yeah they are annoying and they gave me and Camilla detention for no reason" she said while continuing eating her chips. "They didnt give you a detention for no reason they gave you detention because you through gum at a teacher's hair and you dragged me with you" Camilla said pouting. "It was not my fault" Then they started arguing. "Yes it was" "Was not" "Was too" "Was not" "Was too" "Was no-" "Guys come on stop arguing and let's watch the sunset please!" I whined. It was getting late so I decided to visit the lake. When i got there i sat down and just watched everything around me.
FlashBack "Mommy where are we going" i asked my mother. "Well you have to see when we get there" she told me. After a few minutes of walking we found this beautiful lake. "Wow mommy this is beautiful" I told her. "Yes it is sweetheart" she said. "But take a moment to look around it not just the lake take a look at the tree, the birds, and the flower, always show appreciation because what's taken for granted will eventually be taken away then you end up missing the most you least appreciated" she told me with tears in her eyes. She didnt let them fall. End Of Flashback.
We spent that whole day at the lake we sang and swam and just watched everything. She taught me how to appreciate things before they're gone.
There were alot of places I had in mind but I would take to long to see them all so i decided to go home.
When I was outside my house I just looked at it and thought how I spent the best and last years of my life.
Flashback "Mommy why are we here?" I asked my mother "We are here sweetheart because we are going to because this is going to be our new home a fresh start a new Beginning" she said. "But why?" Other Flashback It's been a few months that my mother and Darelle have been dating, and he has been hitting me. But I dont know if I should tell my mother because she's happy and I dont want to ruined that for her. That's when i heard my bedroom door open. "Hello?" I asked. "d darelle is that y you?" My voice came out shaky. "Yeah" he said smirking while locking the door. "What are you doing" I said scared. He was walking closer to me I wanted to run but I was so scared I was stuck in place. Before I knew he was pinning me down on my bed. I was about to scream when he covered my mouth with his filthy hand and said "Scream you filthy bitch and I will beat you to death." Please dont do this" I said while crying. And with that he ripped my shirt and started placing sloppy kisses all over my body "please no" I said crying. He started to unzip his pants. "No no no please" I said I begged him to stop it. After he was finished he left me there I was so tired of screaming and kicking and crying I just stared at the wall blankly I completely shut down. I went inside my house went upstairs and started packing my shoes,clothes,skirts,longsleves, and more. After I finished packing I got my wax pens, vapes, weed, and edibales. Since I was going to live with family I never knew about I'm going to need those.
While pacing through the hallway making sure I didnt forget anything I saw my mothers bedroom open. I went inside and i saw a picture of me as a little girl and her carrying me around our living room. "I dont think I can do this not without you I miss you and you promised not to leave me or to ever let anybody hurt me and you broke it"
"YOU BROKE IT" I yelled. "You promised me" I mumbled to myself
I was now on my mothers bedroom floor looking at the ceiling blankly when I saw something under my mothers bed while getting up so I decided to take them. There was more more than 20 letters in a stack. They I saw the clock that said 4:00 p.m so I went back into my bedroom and decided to pack the letters as well.
I went to go shower because it's been a long day. When I got out of the shower I chose my outfit.

And tied my hair up in a black ribbon. By the time I finished it was 5:00 p.m and then I heard a knock at the door. When I opened the door and saw Miss Lyra. "Are you ready?" She asked me. I only nodded. She led me to the car and we drove to the airport. When we got their we got through security, I dont know how I managed to sneak my vapes, and weed in but I did. We boarded a private plane so I'm guessing that they are very wealthy. And after an hour I fell asleep. But what I didn't know those letters that I found could be life changing.
