Finally Noticed Trilogy: Finally Noticed (being revised)

"I hope you guys realize how thoroughly disappointed I am in you right now," I said for the 5th time as Marshall frantically looks at the tie I'm wearing and then Grant's phone as he watches the YouTube video on how to tie a tie.

"Ya, ya, love you too," grumbles Marshall.

"Shouldn't you know how to do this yourself?" Asks Valentine as he hooks up the speakers up high and out of sight.

"Father never had me wear a tie to meetings. The few times he did a servant usually did it for me," I grumble, realizing Valentine's point.

"At least Lucretius was willing to grab Accalia for you. Although I wish we had asked him to do this before we sent him off," said Grant.

"I think I'm getting the hang of this," said Marshall.

"Good. It's not like it took you 10 minutes to watch a 2 minute video on how to tie a tie," said Grant.

"You want to switch places? Be my guest," growls Marshall.

"Nah I'm good," said Grant.

"Then shush your mouth or I'll use this tie for other reasons," said Marshall.

"Man I am so glad I'm doing the speakers and not that," said Valentine.

"Valentine, I will gladly give you another task if you so like," I growled, getting tired of my brothers arguing.

"Point taken," said Valentine.

"Done." Said Marshall as he steps away. I let out a sigh and gently tuck the tie into my suit and look around.

The room I decided to have our date in is the old ballroom since I know no one will be in here. The ceiling is a sky roof that you can see the entire sky through and there's a huge balcony that you can walk over to where you can look into the forest and even see the huge lake that we have in the center of the forest. I had Valentine fix the speakers and also put in more since I knew the old ones probably won't work super well. The walls are covered in tapestries to help muffle the noise as the floor is solid dark oak and no carpeting. There's small scone lights lining the walls giving a soft white glow but ultimately we rely on the moon's light to light up the room.

"You put a lot of thought into this date. More thought than I ever thought you be capable of," said Grant.

"I can always find another tie and tie it around your mouth," I remarked to which Grant just opened and shut his mouth at.

"Guys, we at least made it through this ordeal. Grimsley gets to have his date and we get to do whatever we want for the night. Win-win," said Marshall. Always trying to be the peacemaker.

"Ya. Like hitting it off with Magnolia," said Valentine.

"I'm going out with some friends," said Grant.

"I'm eating all the little cakes I can at the buffet table," said Marshall.

"Aren't you the health freak in the family?" Said Grant.

"Hey I can have a cheat day," said Marshall.

"Guys, you better get going. Lucretius said he's on his way with Accalia right now." I said, shoving them towards the French doors to leave.

"Hey good luck on your date! I believe in you Grimsley," said Marshall.

"Don't forget condoms." Said Grant to which I just glared at him.

"If any point you feel it's going downhill, just jump off the balcony and hope you survive." Said Valentine to which I just glared at him as well.
