hi! just a quick note: i've been dealing with writers block and i'm lacking creativity so my updates may be staggered.

also i am changing into third person, it makes writing harder when it's on first person so for the rest of the chapters i will be writing in third person.

diana sat in a chair up in her room and pulled out a thick book before grabbing a blanket on her bed. a soft knock came on her door. "who is it?" diana said getting settled into her chair.

"it's — fred" the voice said as they turned the knob. fred opened into the room and took a seat on diana's bed. "oh come on. you cant be mad at me forever. it was one mistake."

diana ignored him and continued to open her book. she moved her fingers to the marked page and began sliding her finger at every word. fred stared and began to get up. "fine. you can stay in here. but you can't make a peep. i want to read while everyone's downstairs." diana said.

maybe she wanted him in there. but who knows. fred sat at the top of her bed and pulled out one of her books. fred looked over at the book diana was reading. "the journey of evergreen" seems boring. read some good books." fred said settling back into diana's bed.

"well excuse me but so far it's good. i don't think i've ever seen you reading. what do you read anyhow" diana snapped as she looked up from her chair. fred was sitting there with one of her books and scanning the back cover.

"oh. well i'm too busy with quidditch to read. so i'm not the reading type." fred said as he opened the book to the first chapter. "which reminds me. can you fill in for our chaser when we get back to school. she had a freak accident and now she can't play."

diana sat there shocked by the outburst of that question. "well i mean maybe. if madam hooch allows me." diana said as she continued reading her book.

"yeah she will. i already asked her before we came home. and i don't think she can say no since we really need one." fred said shifting himself in diana's bed. "but you'll need to train harder than anyone to catch up."

"wow that makes me feel so much better fred." diana said laughing. the two sat in silence for minutes straight reading. fred moved over next to the big chair diana was sitting in and propped his head on the chair while reading.

the only thing diana could think about was his messy hair on her chair. that's the one thing she missed about fred. he would lay in between her legs and just sleep while she played with her hair.

"hey fred. i reckon this is a sore subject but can i ask you.. why did you cheat on me." diana said moving her eyes away from fred hair and moving into her chair.

fred lifted his head and a frown grew on his face. "if i'm being honest i don't quite know. angelina seemed appealing and i didn't want you to find out." fred said trying to make eye contact with diana.

diana felt her eyes begin to water as fred searched for her eyes. afraid of showing he got to her she moved her head away from him and continued to read. but only thinking about what could have been.

"but. after it happened i regretted it. i never wanted to hurt you. angelina became needy and clingy. she didn't give me space like you did." fred said putting his hand on her leg.

"maybe that's what i did wrong. i gave you too much space. if i didn't you wouldn't have fallen out of love with me.. honestly thinking about it this is not a conversation i want to have." diana said in many long breaths.

"but we need to have this conversation diana. when will you learn, i never fell out of love with you. and i never will. but i respect you're with george and i would never do anything to hurt him." fred said letting go of her leg.
