after a few days in the hospital wing I finally woke up. apparently I was out for a few days. once I woke up I shot up and asked for george. who was beside me but I was scared to even see him. madam pomfrey ran to me and made me sit up, she gave me a cup of water and told me to drink it before I said anything. as I was drinking the water george held my hand and laid his head on my hand. he looked as if he was tired and got no sleep. I saw his face light up as I finished the water. he looks at madam pomfery and she left. "diana. are you alright?" I looked at him and fixed my eyes on him. "george im fine. are you alright you look like you haven't slept in days"he looked at me and squeezed my hand. "its because I haven't. ive been down in the infirmary since you fainted in my arms. I wouldn't leave. not even for class. I didn't want you to wake and be all alone." I looked at him and smiled. "but what about class. don't you have work." he looked at me with my face all blushed and held my cheek. "darling dont worry about my classes its all fine. I had ron get me all my work. snape gave me a lot of extra work probably because I was missing class. and I sat here finishing all of it. so I could hold you hand and kiss you on the forehead. the only time I left you was when I had to use the bathroom, and that wasn't long at all." I looked at george flustered with all these feelings I never felt with fred. I looked at him and just made eye contact with him until my heart couldn't take it and I looked away. I felt as if my heart just leaped down to my stomach. "let me guess. you had ron get you food" "oh definitely not. I had ginny get me food. ron would eat it all." I laughed until I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. and grabbed my side.

I winced in pain and shot up. " diana! are you alright? ill go get help!" "george wait!" he ran up to me and tried to figure out what was wrong. "please. kiss me." we kissed for which felt like the longest time until madam pomfery walked in "mr weasley! you know the rules. return to your chair." she looked to me and checked if I had a fever. "diana if you feel up to it. you may leave tomorrow and return to classes the next day." georges eyes lit up and he squeezed my hand in excitement. I looked to him and mouth "should I?" he mouthed "yes!" I looked to mrs pomfery and told her "I would like that. can george sleep with me tonight? I swear no funny business ma'am." she looked at us and I saw georges face turn bright red. "ill alow it. but for now only hand holding. diana you're going to be in pain for a few days so I suggest no physical touching." I looked at george and saw he couldn't stop smiling. but I couldn't help but wonder. as madam pomfrey left. I asked george "hey love? who came to visit me while I was passed out?" he looked at me and started listing people. "well lets see darling, there's was me obviously, hermione, ron, luna of course, olivia, harry visited a few times in between classes," "did he visit?" I asked. "no. he didn't. im sorry darling. hes been with angelina every time I saw him." I looked at him confused. "who are we talking about?" "fred I thought?" george said with a unsure tone. "love I meant draco." "oh im so sorry for even bring up freds name love." I looked at him like he was stupid and told him "I dont even mind." george started doing his work for the day and as he was doing it I whispered "george. im kind of tired, do you wanna hold my hand so I can fall asleep?" he looked at me and shot up "merliens beard I do" I started drifting off and fell asleep while george was doing his work. I grasped on a piece of paper before I fell asleep and let go of it when I fell asleep.
