"Kacchan!"
"Deku!" The two enthusiastically greeted, playfully approaching each other.
It's Christmas Eve and Mitsuki Bakugo invited Inko Midoiya and her son, Izuku to their house to stay for the Christmas. Both ladies are highschool friends and they traditionally spend Christmas with each other's family.
Izuku and Katsuki both grew up together since they're babies. Everytime Inko and Mitsuki hang out, they bring their sons and they naturally become playmates.
The two naturally liked each other. They always got each other's back if something is wrong, with Katsuki always the protective one.
His line was always 'Izuku, don't cry. I am here alright?' whenever he's sad, then hugging him tightly and patting his back afterwards.
While Inko and Mitsuki are busy on the kitchen chatting, Izuku and Katsuki asked for their permission to play outside.
"...as long as the two of you came back early, ok? it's freezing outside you might catch cold." Mitsuki reminded the two boys which the two kid replied with enthusiastic cheers.
They started making snowman with Katsuki leading in which Izuku gleefully followed him. They keep stacking snow until a group of kid approached them.
"Hey, can we join you guys?" One of the kids asked. Katsuki looked pissed, instantly getting a bad feeling about them, but Izuku had the opposite reaction.
"Ok! Help me and Kacchan to build this snowman. We're almost done so we only need sticks for the arms." He replied optimistically.
As they build the snowman, Katsuki noticed how Izuku was so happy when he's with other people. It made him jealous a little bit since it's his first time seeing Izuku with other kids beside him. He wanted him to be with himself only.
When the snowman is completed, Izuku cheered gleefully.
"Wow! It's so good! Kacchan and I do most of the work but you guys made it bett--" Izuku said but paused. "--er."
The kids, who only contributed sticks for the arms, started kicking the snowman, destroying it.
It saddened Midoriya.
"...N-no, stop it." Izuku said quietly, tears threatening to spill while the kids are laughing.
One of them proceeded to push Izuku so hard that he fall to the ground without any reason. Izuku immediately cried out loud because of the pain in his buttocks from the impact.
"You crybaby, you look so ridiculous hahahaha." The pushing kid said to him. Everyone started to make fun of Izuku, which enraged Katsuki.
He's so angry he felt something tingling in his palms.
"You don't make fun of Izuku like that!" Katsuki screamed, involuntarily producing an explosion equivalent to a firecracker without him noticing.
It was the first time Katsuki used his quirk.
The explosion hurt Katsuki's arms and singed the kids. The kids cried because of shock.
"We're gonna tell our moms about this!" The kid, who seems to be their leader, said.
As they go away, Izuku continued crying without even noticing what happened. The poor kid looked at the destroyed snowman.
