✘ CH. 22

[One week later]

[FRIDAY | 5PM]

MIDORIYA'S POV

It's been a week and I haven't said a single word to both Kacchan or Todoroki kun.

It's the worst week I've ever had in my life.

I recently had difficulty in sleeping. My brain is wide awake twenty four-seven thinking about the two. I keep saying to myself that I deserve this for being such an asshole.

Inside the classroom, Kacchan won't even turn his head around. He keeps looking on his notes only and he's not even writing anything while Todoroki's back in his unfriendly, emotionless self. I know it was his usual expression but I'm aware that he's upset.

I sighed.

I returned to my dorm room, changing to my sleeping wear. I laid on my bed and covered myself with a blanket in attempt to sleep early.

I never hanged out with anyone from our class till now, they may thought that there's something wrong since I can't hide my feelings well. I always give excuses like I need to study or train. Good thing they're always convinced by knowing me as a training freak.

A couple of minutes passed and a knock came at my door.

For a second, I shamelessly hoped it's Todoroki or Kacchan, but I stopped from giving myself false hope.

When I opened the door, it's Iida, Uraraka and Tsuyu standing in front of my door and greeting me with a smile. I was relieved that it was them this time because whenever I talk to our other classmates, I always put up a fake smile to avoid them suspecting that there's something wrong.

"Oh, hey guys." I greeted back, raising my right arm slightly.

"Deku kun! We're here to cheer you up!" Uraraka said with excitement in her voice.

I envy her energy.

"It's been a week Midoriya kun." Tsuyu said worriedly. I know from the look in their eyes that they have intentions for visiting my room all of the sudden.

"We think a movie night will help you cheer up? What do you think?" Iida kun suggested with a smile in his face. The three of them shows sincerity to help me and I'm so grateful about it.

I'm so happy that I have my friends with me.

"Thank you guys, sure come in." I said, inviting the three inside. I'm very sleepy before they knocked but when they went here, I feel suddenly feel energized.

After a couple of topics and chats, I told them everything; from Kacchan to Todoroki.

They're kind of not surprised with Todoroki liking me. They told me that it was very obvious and it was me who is insensitive in which I tried not to look offended. I looked back to my past and I never really noticed anything.

...and I'm not insensitive! The audacity these guys have. (lol Deku)

I grabbed my laptop and inserted the USB that Tsuyu brought. We choose from the list of movies and decided to watch the whole Avengers movie franchise.

Oh boy, it's gonna be a looooong night.

"Hey Deku."

"-- Uh, UWA! Uh, w-what is it Uraraka san?" I asked startled, waking up from my sleep. One hour has already passed and I almost missed the whole film. The movie is currently in the climax the moment that I woke up.
