✘ CH. 10

It was already dark when Midoriya accompanied Todoroki to the Quirk Control Organization after the rooftop incident. The dual haired boy filed a complaint of unauthorized use of quirk and sexual harassment on Yuka (yas king). Principal Nezu was informed about the incident and expelled Yuka immediately from the academy with the organization promising to punish the girl to learn her lesson.

It was silence between the two while walking to their dorm as both felt the less need to talk, with the awkwardness between them an enough reason to be. It's a very long day and Todoroki wanted to sleep for a whole day.

The two reached the dorms and all of the sudden, Todoroki felt a strong arm pulling him away from the door. When he looked up, it's Midoriya that's dragging him to a nearby gazeebo in the botanical garden.

"Todoroki-kun, tell me what's wrong?" Midoriya asked in serious tone, turning his head into his direction.

"...I told you, it's nothing." Todoroki replied, sounding very tired without looking to the boy.

Midoriya walked slowly towards Todoroki and bro-hugged him tightly.

It surprised Todoroki. He thought that Midoriya was angry for yelling at him but no. He started blushing so hard resulting him becoming stiff. The dual haired boy noticed how Midoriya needs to tiptoe to reach his shoulders which he thought was cute.

"Todoroki-kun, I'm sorry." Midoriya said quietly, making Todoroki confused.

"...Why are you apologizing?" Todoroki asked.

"I hadn't realized that I kind of stopped hanging out with you. I felt terrible and I hate myself for not being a good friend towards you. I'm so sorry Todoroki-kun." He explained. Todoroki felt tears bulding up his eyes, leaning forward and rested his head against Midoriya's shoulder in response. He did his best not to sob to avoid suspicions from the broccoli haired boy.

He knew that it wasn't supposed to be a big deal but it was, for him.

"I'm sorry too, I yelled at you." Todoroki said quietly in his deep voice. "...I-It's just-, it hurts Midoriya. I-I never felt like this b-before." He said, finally letting a manly sob escape and cried on Midoriya's shoulders. The green haired boy confusedly panicked but he set aside his thoughts and comforted him.

It was the first time he saw the dual haired boy cry.

"I-It's okay Todoroki-kun, e-everything's gonna be ok." He replied without knowing the reason behind his tears, rubbing Todoroki's back. "I want you to know that you're not alone and I got your back, okay? I will never force you to say anything." He added.

Todoroki continued crying on Midoriya's shoulders for another minute. The green haired boy noticed his sobs had a mixture of pain and sadness and it also made him sad.

...I can't hide this, I need to tell Midoriya. Todoroki thought as he take a deep breath.

"M-Midoriya?" Todoroki asked as he remained on Midoriya's shoulder and arms dangling on his side with the urge to wrap it around Midoriya's body. He's stopping himself from doing so.

"Y-Yes, Todoroki kun?" He answered.

"...can I tell you something?" Todoroki asked quietly in which Midoriya nodded in agreement.

Todoroki started to debate with himself if it's the right time to confess. He's done with lying to himself anymore.

...Just tell him you like him. It's easy.

"...I-, I-" Todoroki can feel his heart rate getting faster as his anxiety rose.
