someday we'll get through this,
look back and laugh at how we acted over such a small thing that got over-extorted.
someday we'll see a life past this,
although things are unsteady now, it'll get easier, it has to.
someday you may even join me in my hopefulness, or take it as you could use it more.
we'll teach ourselves that we don't constantly need someone to find a 'happy ending', and love isn't as simple as we once thought. sure it seems easy to those who have it, but they don't realise the work it takes to keep the flame going.
and that's all ours did, the flame dimmed out from high expectations so we can't keep blaming ourselves or one another for nature changing its course, something we didn't plan for, we just got a little too comfortable and that's okay.someday we'll both be over this mess stowed upon us. remember how to smile again and let the tears dry out.
someday it'll get easier and we can just talk like we used to, without worries. laugh like we used to.
someday the waiting will die out and we'll be able to breathe again.
time is slow now but soon we won't notice it at all, maybe even figure out what went wrong and if it's worth going back; but if you wanted to try again, it'll be hard to deny that, though if you want to move forward instead i'll understand. i'll take the time to learn, give it time. we can't deny it was good but we can't just force it back, if its meant to be then let nature run its course, que sera sera.just stop the wondering, the what ifs, they're not healthy for either of us.
even if the questions dawn upon us on whether we should of fought harder, its no one's fault, its over for now and we both just need a rest.
