Team Exercise!

(A/N: it's the last day of my winter break TT sos)

    After class 1-A got changed into their hero outfits, it was time to take them to the battlefield. Everyone went outside to meet up with All Might who was smiling wider than ever. Y/N sat next to Mina and Tokoyami who were adjusting their costumes as needed. As soon as everyone was ready, All Might started explaining the test, "So far, all of our training has been outside. But if you look at the total numbers, atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate.". As he started listing different types of attacks villains do indoors, Y/N felt himself start to zone out. This was his first big training exercise after he nearly put UA underwater. A part of him felt the only reason he was being kept around was because he could be seen as a threat if expelled. 

        He shook off those thoughts though, because he did in fact want to know what was going on today. He wanted to prove himself. "For this class, you'll be split into villains and heroes and fight 2-on-2 indoor battles." All Might continued. This would be hard, especially for Y/N whose quirk worked better with big things like walls, towers, or even tsunamis apparently. "Without real training?" Tsuyu asked. "This is a real battle to understand those basics!" All Might replied, raising a fist up. "However, the key this time is that there's no robot you can just beat up." He continued. "How will who wins and loses be determined?" Momo asked, saying exactly what Y/N was thinking at the time. This started a chain of questions from Class 1-A including a rather strange one from Aoyama. (A/N: Please help I fear him and love him so much) 

     All Might opened a script, much to the students confusion, and started answering their questions. "The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time." He explained, "The villains need to protect the nuclear weapon for the whole time or catch the heroes." All Might held up a box with papers inside it, this was how the teams would be decided. Just to his luck, Y/N was teamed up with Hagakure. They had spoken many times and Y/N considered them friends. All Might pulled out spheres with the letters B and I on them. They would be going against Todoroki and Shoji. (A/N: rip Ojirou lmao) Knowing that he would be going against Todoroki, Y/N's mind was buzzing. He was good with strategy but that was just a result of thinking about everything all the time. Playing out every scenario until he could figure out what was most likely to happen and what he could to to avoid it. 

     It was time for Bakugou and Deku to go up. They stared at each other for a while, just like... growling? Y/N decided to ignore the interaction and go up to the tv room where he could watch their fight. This was the same room where he watched everyone fight for their spot in UA. His mind was buzzing with possible strategies from Todoroki. He knew he would only be using his ice side because he seemed to have something against his dad. Ice.. He had figured out the most likely possibility. If Todoroki could figure out where they were using Shoji's quirk, he'd be able to freeze the place, hurting Hagakure as she needed to be barefoot to fully use her power. Y/N thought of a solution to this idea. It wouldn't be easy and even if he managed to do this, there would still be the rest of the time to get through but it was always good to get a head start. 

    Bakugou, Deku, Uraraka, and Iida came back from their fight. It got pretty heated. Although Deku's team won, it was obvious they hadn't been very safe while doing so. It did worry Y/N that they didn't hesitate to throw themselves into danger but he was a bit distracted trying to find any strategy from team B and how to best stop them. He turned to Hagakure. We're up next ,he wrote. I need you to take off one shoe. "That's, a strange request, Y/N." I know but it'll make sense later. Please only do it when we're inside so they don't see you. I have a plan. Not being able to communicate all too well with his partner definitely put Y/N behind a bit but he was ready to do what he had to do to win. Y/N was getting serious. He was really feeling the pressure which turned into internalized coldness. He turned on Therefore I Am using his new earpiece and got ready. Y/N got into position. Put on one shoe and stand on your bare foot this is kinda strange but it'll work. He told Hagakure while doing the same.
