Round Three!

(A/N: Call this a slowburn cause im slowly uploading this ahahahahahah,,, sorry) 

           It felt like a second, the break time Y/N got. He was still exhausted when Iida came into his room, telling him that the next round started in a couple minutes. After Iida left, Y/N slowly got up from the floor where he was lying. His joints hurt and every part of him ached. Using his quirk proved incredibly exhausting, and he was definitely on his last limbs. Nevertheless, he had another round to do, and he'll do his best. 

         Y/N trudged onto the grounds, he had already picked out a song for fighting Todoroki. It was true, his latest breakthrough with his power had taken Y/N by surprise. But, using a song in which he could control fire- including any thrown at him - should work perfectly. Before he was prepared, the song started. Todoroki made the mistake of sending a giant wall of fire towards Y/N. Quickly, Y/N took it into his control. He now had ammo, and his plan started. The bout was working in Y/N's favor, despite his extreme exhaustion. Todoroki was starting to catch onto the fact that none of his mainstream attacks would work, ice would melt and fire would add to Y/N's power. The main chorus was starting soon as Y/N got ready to send his own fire wall. 

          It was time, Y/N put in all of their energy into their final attack, the crowd's cheers completely fading into the background of his thoughts. The blast was strong, but was immediately combatted by another blast from Todoroki. The fire went out of control of the both of them, making a giant explosion that knocked both Y/N and Todoroki outside of the ring. But, before Y/N fell, he used the last of his strength to move the steam in the air and condense it, stopping him from hitting the ground a split second after Todoroki did.

           Y/N didn't know he'd won the battle until he woke up in the recovery room, next to Todoroki who was still passed out, and Mina and Bakugou who were nervously watching Y/N, waiting for him to regain his senses. When he did, Y/N tried to wave his hand but Bakugou was holding it. Upon realizing this, Bakugou immediately dropped his hand. "Y/N are you alright?! That battle was insane, not even the teachers could stop you guys!" Mina said, waking Todoroki up. Bakugou looked pretty upset, and reasonably so. Not only was someone he cared for hurt, but he had won the sports festival by default. He didn't get to prove to everyone how strong he was. 

         A couple minutes after Y/N and Todoroki had woken up, it was time for the awards ceremony. Bakugou in first, Y/N in second, and Todoroki in third.
