(A/N: I am very tired, hope yall are doin good... uhhhhh OH WHAT SHOULD I GET FOR DINNER? Im so hungry and we have yet to decide on something. ALSO SPOILERS FOR SHIGGY'S BACKSTORY)

There Y/N sat, shifting every once in a while in his seat at a meeting with many pro heroes and teachers of his. Mr. Aizawa was absent, still healing. But Y/N was there. He was someone who witnessed the attack first hand although his presence was slightly strange in a room of adults. Akutsu was there as well, so Y/N could talk easier. "So we really don't know anything." Vlad King said, sat beside Y/N. "We must hurry. Once Shigaraki's gun wounds heal, they'll definitely try again." Y/N looked down, thinking about things he could bring up. (When Y/N is getting stuff translated I'll put it like this: "aaaAAAaA my salami" so you know he isn't thinking but isn't writing either.) "I saw him before."

Y/N looked up, making eye contact with the police officer, "He was the reason for the break in, I didn't think much of it at first because I didn't think he actually broke down the gate. But looking back at it, that guy definitely had his eyes on UA for a while." He continued. "Also, I have a couple of guesses I can make on his character, it's very common for villains not to have parents or at least a bad relationship with them but I think that because of his quirk -or more, when it developed- he killed them." Y/N shifted his glance to the window, still deep in thought, "That would've left him an orphan, and homeless since he would have been relatively young at the time... then I suppose no one helped him, all making the same excuse." A dangerous glint hit Y/N's eyes. "A hero would get to it." The pros all looked at the translator then at the boy and back at the translator again before he signed, "So I guess that'd make a good motive, if that counts for anything. It was more of just rambling than important info."

Although it was true that the information Y/N had come up with was almost completely useless on paper, the pros couldn't help but notice how fast and precise Y/N's notes seemed to be. He looked at people and picked them apart, even if their only interactions lasted for minutes. Somehow though, he hadn't managed to find anything out about himself. He was completely oblivious in some senses but totally there in others. After some more conversation, the heroes started getting ready to go home. Y/N stood in the doorway as they left. He looked down to the floor while leaning on the doorframe. Even pros got to go home, a lot of the time he was alone. After around fifteen minutes he walked down the dark hall, stopping at the view of the city he had. Every building held a family, or at least a person. They were smiling, laughing, and yet still taking what they had for granted. Each small house held people living their small life. Were they oblivious to the pain they would feel or did they just learn to accept it? How could they smile so easily? Were they faking it like he was?

These questions were things that Y/N had pondered ever since he'd woken up the first time. He wants to protect people from going through anything near what he had to go through, or what he is going through. He wanted to help everyone he could. Because each smile, each family, and each friendship was something he would never under appreciate and it's his mission to make sure that everyone could feel those happy feelings and experiences that mean so much to him. He knew that every happy moment was sacred. Y/N is strong and smart, he is humble and always ready to fight in the name of wellness and those are all traits that'll make him the best hero.

Y/N started thinking about his classmates, more particularly Todoroki and Bakugou. Todoroki was someone who really rubbed Y/N the wrong way. He was always so cold. Sure he had a heart somewhere in there but overall he came to UA with the idea of "I'm not here to make friends". That goes for Bakugou as well, it was something Y/N couldn't wrap his head around. Although most of it was spent on training, this is the only high school experience they're getting, are they really planning on spending it all on just training and practicing? Even from a battle strategy type of perspective, it's a good idea to make comrades and people you can depend on when in distress. Although Y/N assumes that in their ideal world they'd never need help. Another thing that confused Y/N about the two boys were their motive, their dream to become the number one hero. That seemed like something that was easily swayed by popularity which in his opinion shouldn't be something that matters to a hero, right?

Bakugou always treated Y/N well, and that didn't go over Y/N's head, he noticed a good amount of small things he did for him but never really pieced together the ideas. Bakugou was someone Y/N really liked, he made him feel strangely safe. He was someone who he wanted to learn more about and who he wanted to hang out more with. But above that, Y/N could tell that he had good priorities. He never underestimated the girls and he didn't treat Y/N differently because he's trans, Bakugou was someone who didn't care about who you were but saw everyone as an equal threat. That was something Y/N could say he loved about him. Whenever he talked with Bakugou he knew he wasn't gonna get any bullshit.

Y/N continued letting his mind wander, continuing to analyze people. He started thinking about his teacher, Mr. Aizawa. He was strong and would never let his students get hurt but Y/N knows it wasn't always like that. I mean, he had expelled an entire class. That wasn't ruling with an iron fist, that was being lazy. As a teacher it's his job to form those students into people worthy of being heroes right? It was obvious Mr. Aizawa is letting his past get in the way of being a teacher who's emotionally available for his students. Which in no way is responsible. But before Y/N could let himself continue he had to remind himself that he's healing right now from almost dying to save and protect his students. He put himself in danger and that was something that earned Y/N's respect.

Y/N looked down, removing his hand from the window, watching as the fog it created dissolved away before trudging back to his room where he planned to collapse to sleep and barely wake up in time for school the next day. Perhaps, his analyzing was a habit he picked up from his past, or lack there of. But he didn't question it too much. Instead Y/N tried to clear his mind. He preferred being an optimist than a psychoanalyzer.
