Cami was stretched out along the back seat looking through some random magazine that she stole from a gas station bathroom.

Was it the best?

Nope.

Did it help with her boredom since Dean won't let her buy an iPod?

Yep.

"Alright, I figure we'd hit Tucumcari by lunch, then head south, hit Bisbee by midnight." Dean said, breaking Cami out of her thoughts as he pulled into a gas station.

It seems like Sam wasn't paying attention making Cami sit up and glance over the backseat to see him busy typing away on his laptop.

"Sam wears women's underwear." Cami says

"I've been listenin', I'm just busy." He says checking e-mails on his PalmPilot.

"Busy doin' what?" Dean asks

"Reading e-mails." Sam tells them.

Dean gets out of the car and starts to fill the tank with gas. As Cami climbs into the front seat to sit by Sam.

"E-mails from who?" Cami asks laying her head on his shoulder

"From my friends at Stanford." Sam says putting a arm around her back

"You're kidding. You still keep in touch with your college buddies?" Dean asks

"Why not?" Sam asks

"Well, what exactly do you tell 'em? You know, about where you've been, what you've been doin'?" Cami asked giving him a weird look, making friends wasn't the best idea for a Winchester.

"I tell 'em I'm on a road trip with my big brother and niece. I tell 'em I needed some time off after Jess." Sam says

"Oh, so you lie to 'em." Dean says

"No. I just don't tell 'em....everything." Sam says

"Yeah, that's called lying. I mean, hey, man, I get it, tellin' the truth is far worse." Dean says

"So, what am I supposed to do, just cut everybody out of my life?" Dean shrugs. "You're serious?" Sam asks

"Look, it sucks, but in a job like this, you can't get close to people, period." Dean says and Cami nods
