The four Winchester's are still in Colorado at the motel, Cami's wound is healing pretty well for a vampire bite since Dean has been making sure it is cleaned and has antibacterial ointment on it.
The walls are covered with information on the yellow eyed demon. Weather charts, hieroglyphics, pictures, newspaper articles, written notes, a shelf of books and more. It's covered with all of John's research from the past year.
John is sitting at the table with papers thrown all over the top of it, Sam is leaning against the counter watching as Dean paces, while Cami is sitting in front of John holding the Colt admiring the gun.
"So this is it? This is the big bad gun that can kill any supernatural creature?" Cami asked looking up at John
"Yep. This is it. This is everything I know. Look, our whole lives we been searching for this demon right? Not a trace, just...nothing. Until about a year ago. For the first time I picked up a trail." John explained sitting forward and leaning against the table
"And that's when you took off." Dean concluded and John nodded
"Yeah. That's right. The demon must have come out of hiding, or hibernation." John said
"This trail you found? What about it?" Cami asked sitting the Colt down on the table
"It starts in Arizona, then New Jersey, California. Houses burned down to the ground. It's going after families, just like it went after us." John explained looking between the three
"Families with infants?" Sam asked
"Yeah. The night of the kid's six-month birthday." John said
"I was six months old that night?" Sam asked and John nodded
"Exactly six months." John confirmed
"So basically, this demon is going after these kids for some reason. The same way it came for me? So Mom's death...Jessica. It's all because of me?" Sam realized making Dean and Cami exchange looks
"We don't know that Sam." Dean denies but Sam just shook his head
"Oh really? Cause I'd say we're pretty damn sure Dean." Sam grunted in frustration
"For the last time, what happened to them was not your fault." Dean said frustrated that Sam kept blaming him self for something he couldn't control
