It was so quiet in the motel room that you could hear a pin drop. The air is so thick you could cut through it with a knife, the look on Dean's face was one Cami had only ever seen before when she or Sam were in trouble. Cami stood up and walked hesitantly towards her dad as he hung the phone up.
"What was that?" Cami asked carefully not wanting to say the wrong thing and upset him
"They've got dad." Dean replied clenching his fists making Cami's eyes widen
Sure, John has always treated them like shit and drug them around the country, and they may not be his biggest fans. But at the end of the day John is their blood, whether they like it or not he's family. And you don't leave family behind.
"Meg?" Sam asked and Dean just nods. "What'd she say?"
"I just told you, Sammy. Okay. His plan didn't work. They got him." Dean said frantically moving around the motel room, he takes the Colt and tucks it into the back of his jeans before moving towards his duffel bag
"What are you doing, Dean?" Sam asked watching as Dean grabbed his duffel bag and started shoving his clothes in it.
"We got to go." Dean replied grabbing Cami's bag and tossing it to her knocking her out of her daze
"Why?" Sam asked looking over towards Cami in confusion who just shrugged and started shoving her toiletries into her bag
"Because the demon knows we're in Salvation, all right. It knows we got the Colt. It's got Dad – it's probably coming for us next. I don't want Cami in the middle of this without backup." Dean said putting on his jacket
"Good. We've still got three bullets left. Cami's a good hunter and can take care of herself. I say we let it come." Sam rebuttal's not wanting to run away from the fight
"Listen, tough guy, we're not ready, okay? We don't know how many of them are out there. No matter how good of hunters we are we can't fight a bunch of demons with only 3 special bullets left." Dean urged trying to get Sam to understand what he's saying
"We can't just run away like cowards. We owe it to mom and Jess and even dad to stay and finish this." Sam replied shaking his head
"As much as I hate to say it, this is too much for us to handle on our own Sam. We've never dealt with anything like this before if we stay then we'll die, as simple as that. We're no good to anyone dead, especially to the ones we're trying to avenge." Cami jumped in, understanding what her dad was saying
