It has been a hectic few weeks for the Winchester family. First they were arrested and managed to draw out a crooked detective and gain the friendship of another. Then they learned about the crossroad demons and Cami realized that John made a demon deal like the victims in their case to save her life.
During this time Cami had talked to Beau a couple of times, things were still a little awkward after learning the truth about John and Bill but they still kept in touch.
It was just like John to ruin something good for Cami, she could feel the pull between Beau and her but now she's worried that this might be too much for them to look past.
"Yo." Dean said nudging his daughters arm as they walked through the grocery store knocking her out of her thoughts
"Huh?" Cami asked shaking her head
"I asked, twinkies or fudge rounds?" Dean asked holding both boxed up
"Both." Cami shrugged and Dean grinned tossing them into the buggy
They left Sam who was asleep back at the hotel and decided to come on a father daughter food run.
"You doing ok? I know these past few weeks have been weird." Dean said and Cami just nodded
"Yeah I'm fine. Nothing I can't handle." Cami said walking forward and grabbing a bag of cheetos
Dean smiled softly watching his daughter walk ahead of him looking through different brands of chocolate chip cookies, who knew they made so many different brands?
He knows that things have been tough for her lately and he's not naive, he knows something was going on between her and the Harvelle boy and just like whatever weird attraction he and Jo had was paused by the revelation.
It's hard not to worry about Cami, she's only 16 and has already been through so much. But she's a Winchester through and through. She's tough.
"I think that's it." Cami said looking down at their buggy filled with different snacks and drinks, mainly junk food and a couple healthy things for Sam
They try to keep a large snack basket in the backseat so that they don't have to make anymore food stops than necessary when they're on the road.
"Yeah, I think we're good to go." Dean nodded before they went to the checkout
When they got back to their motel for the night, Cami pushed the door open but paused making Dean bump into her back when she saw Sam on the floor beside the bed.
