Two weeks have pasted since the creepy killer clown case, two weeks of spending all of their time at Bobby's house, Dean worked relentlessly on the Impala, Sam was slowly but surly coming to peace with John's death, and Cami has been texting back and forth with a certain blue eyed boy.
Surprisingly, it was nice to talk to someone her own age for a change, Cami can't remember the last time she actually had a friend her own age.
It also helps that Beau is such a looker. Cami can already feel herself starting to swoon, I mean he didn't really even know her and jumped at the chance to patch her up after she was injured, he sat with her and let her rant about John's death and didn't interrupt her he just listened.
Knowing their lives and career choice Cami knows better, she knows not to get involved with someone because chances are they'll be dead faster than you can say I love you. But that doesn't take away the longing she has for something more.
"Cami! Cami!" Dean exclaimed as he burst into her room making her jump and drop her phone on her face thanks to her position laying down on her back in bed
"Ow!" Cami exclaimed
"Sorry." Dean smiled sheepishly before shaking his head. "I fixed baby! She's as good as new! Now come on, I caught us a case! Let's get back on the open road kid! We could even get you some things to decorate your room while we're gone if you want."
"Wait really?" Cami asked in excitement
"Yeah. I mean Bobby mentioned us sticking around when we don't have a case, acting like a normal family a little bit and having a place to call home. Hell, this rooms been yours since you were a baby anyway. Might as well really make it yours." Dean said with a gentle smile noticing Cami's excitement
"I'd love it! Thanks dad!" Cami exclaimed jumping out of bed to hug him, Dean chuckled and hugged her back tightly kissing her forehead
"Don't thank me. Thank your papaw Bobby, he's the one who convinced me." Dean said as they pulled away
"Ok." Cami smirked before rushing out of the room. "Bobby! Come give me a hug you grumpy son of a gun!"
Dean chuckled as he watched his daughter go running down the stairs, he could vaguely hear Bobby's harmless complaining and Cami's excited rambling but he was just happy that Cami is starting to go a little back to normal. Less angsty teen and more like his girl.
