Play the intro from their OTRA tour when the no control part starts. Trust me just do it. - H
I am currently running around an arena like a maniac.
More like a bat out of hell.
Why am I sweating so much?
Harry decided to spill coffee on his shirt six minutes before he was about to go on. My first question is who gave him coffee in the first place when he was wearing a white shirt? He is the most clumsy person I have ever known.
Six bloody minutes and he just had to have a coffee?
Of course the dressing rooms are on the other side of this god forsaken place. I have a gray shirt gripped in my hand as I weave through the corridors and try to get to the stage with only a minute to spare.
"Out the way!" I yell so people can clear a path.
I look like a mad woman. I'm bumping into crew members as I push my way through to deliver this stupid shirt.
I can hear the intro music playing and the sound that used to bring me joy is giving me a heart attack.
Why did I choose to wear heeled boots tonight of all nights?
I was in my classic black, high waisted, ripped skinny jeans, a white tank top and my leather jacket I wear all the time.
I burst through the door and see stage people trying to wipe the stain off of Harry's shirt like that's going to do anything.
Thirty seconds.
"Oi!" I yell trying to get their attention.
"Kie, thank god" Harry says as I toss the gray t-shirt his way.
"That off," I say out of breath pointing to his stained shirt, "That on!" I yell pointing to the gray shirt.
I move off to the side knowing in 15 seconds that the doors are going to open and the boys are going to hit the stage. I need to be out of the way so the crowd doesn't see me.
Harry takes off his shirt and you'd think after all this time that I wouldn't be fazed by it anymore.
I'm still fazed.
He slips on the shirt just in time and tosses me the coffee shirt mouthing a quick "thank you" as the doors open, the crowd going crazy, and they start performing Clouds.
I stand by the side of the stage now watching the boys perform like I always do. The show never gets old even after the eightieth time.
They're now heading off stage before the encore, each one passing me greeting me like they always do, Harry being the last one in line.
I see him approach with his hand in the air awaiting our high five we always share after he comes off stage. I lift my arm as well and if this isn't what being in the friend zone feels like then I don't know what it is.
We high five top gun style. Like from the volleyball scene. Don't know how it started but we do it every time he finishes any kind of performance.
"Thanks Kiwi, you saved me back there," He says, grabbing a water bottle and gulping it down.
My name is Katie, only when Harry and I met when we were babies he pronounced it like Kawie and that just morphed into Kiwi and he sometimes calls me Kie.
"You're welcome, again" I said laughing, "Harry what have I always told you? You can't go near-"
"Food or drink that will stain before a show" He cuts me off finishing my sentence. "Kie, I know I'm sorry but I needed coffee as an extra caffeine boost otherwise I was gonna crash out there."
"Are you getting enough sleep?" I ask
"Yes mom" he says in a mocking tone.
I just glare at him, "Harry I'm serious, you need a proper night's rest-"
"Oi sorry gotta go on for encore see ya!" He says avoiding the subject like always and running out with the rest of the boys to finish the show.
That boy is going to be the death of me.
