The story so far

This story takes places after the climax of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Season 7 and My Little Pony. The Movie. I am fully aware of Seasons 8 and 9, however none of the characters introduced in the final 2 seasons will not feature in this story. That will be saved for the sequel.

Here is my recap of the first 7 Seasons of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Season 1:

Twilight Sparkle, the future Princess of Friendship's life in the magical land of Equestria had never been the same, ever since she moved from her bustling home city of Canterlot, the capital city of Equestria, to the sleepy little town of Ponyville and she definitely wouldn't change it for the world.

Twilight's beloved teacher and mentor Princess Celestia, the Princess of the Day, reluctantly sent her treasured young protégé to live in Ponyville, in order to further Twilight's education and training, Ponyville was situated between Canterlot and the Abyssal Mountains. (This was long before Twilight became an Alicorn and a Princess). It was incredibly dangerous on Abyssal Mountain, the reason for that is because extremely ferocious Dragons from the distant Dragon Lands often took long naps in the large caves during their long-distance flights through Equestria to the Dragon Lands and they were known to be incredibly unpleasant and violent. (I actually don't know if the Mountain Range between Ponyville and Canterlot has a name, so I decided to call it Abyssal Mountain, it was originally called Smokey Mountain, until I saw the Hooffield and McColt feud episode, so I renamed the mountain Abyssal Mountain, to avoid confusing my readers, this huge mountain range had became increasingly dangerous, after a huge and ferocious red dragon, Razer, temporarily left smoke billowing from the cave's entrance in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Season 1. Episode 7. Dragonshy).

Before she moved to Ponyville, Twilight had very strong feelings that Princess Celestia's younger sister Princess Luna, the Princess of the Night, or rather, Luna's evil alter-ego, Nightmare Moon, a maniacal transformation that was caused by Luna's jealousy over her older sister, Celestia, getting all of the attention from her subjects and Luna was cruelly shunned during her peaceful night. Nightmare Moon had planned to return from her long absence, by using the alignment of the stars to help her escape from her lunar prison cell and she vowed to plunge Equestria into a state of eternal darkness, however, a hopeful Princess Celestia told Twilight that all she needed to do was make some friends and not to obsessively fret over Nightmare Moon's plot against Equestria.

Twilight and Spike set off on their journey to Ponyville early the next morning, Spike was a baby Dragon and Twilight's adoptive little brother, he had loyally been by the future Princess of Friendship's side ever since he was hatched during Twilight's School for Gifted Unicorns entrance exam, when Twilight was just a young filly. Twilight and Spike soon arrived in Ponyville by Princess Celestia's chartered Pegasus driven air chariot, where they soon met a passing Pinkie Pie, a bubbly pink Earth Pony, who was easily excited by just about anything, Pinkie had seemingly endless energy and a tendency to talk too much without taking a single breath, as well the Earth Pony mare having an enormous craving for sweets, which would easily explain her constant hyperactivity, Twilight and Spike then met Applejack, an Earth Pony apple farmer, with a thick Western accent and amazing tree bucking strength, Applejack also introduced her entire family, including her siblings Big Macintosh and Applebloom and her elderly grandmare, Granny Smith, who were visiting for the Apple Family's huge annual Apple Family Reunion, much to Twilight's annoyance.

As they walked back through Ponyville, Twilight, who had a stomach ache from eating too much pie at Sweet Apple Acres, was accidentally flattened by Rainbow Dash, a tomboyish, boastful and exceedingly fast rainbow maned Pegasus, with dreams of becoming a member of Equestria's biggest aerial relay team, the Wonderbolts, Spike and Twilight, who's mane was all puffy from Rainbow Dash's special rainblow dry tornado headed for Ponyville's Town Hall, Spike sniggering all the way about Twilight's puffed up mane mane, at the Town Hall, Twilight and Spike met Rarity, a beautiful pearl-white Unicorn, who worked as Ponyville's premier fashion designer, Rarity dreamed of becoming one of Equestria's most famous fashion designers, Spike instantly fell in love with Rarity, much to Twilight's annoyance and finally, the duo met Fluttershy, a buttercream coloured Pegasus, who was really shy and was easily startled by just about anything, but, she was also amazingly brave when she needed to be, Fluttershy also had the ability to communicate with any kind of animal, Fluttershy was in charge of the songbird choir at the Summer Sun Celebration. That evening, while the excited citizens of Ponyville were making final preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration, which was one of Equestria's biggest holidays.
