Chapter 3: The family ties that bind

Scootaloo was shocked to discover that her idol and hero, Rainbow Dash, was actually her birth mother and Soarin Skies was her father. Scootaloo then bravely, albeit accidentally, announced her pregnancy to her parents, however, Scootaloo's drug addicted and alcoholic coltfriend, Jett Stream, the father of Scootaloo's unborn foal, cruelly abandoned her and their child.

Later that night, Jett Stream was arrested, for assaulting Pound Cake is the son of the Ponyville cake shop, Sugarcube Corner's owners, Mr. Carrot Cake and Mrs. Chiffon Swirl Cup Cake and the fraternal twin brother of Pumpkin Chiffon Swirl Cake, the assault left Pound Cake requiring 10 stitches on his chin and feeling severely shaken up by his ordeal.

Now, let's continue with the story.

It had been a few days since Scootaloo had discovered that Rainbow Dash and Soarin Skies were her birth parents and after she had announced her pregnancy news to them, the Wonderbolts Commander, Spitfire and her husband, Thunderlane, who were the grandparents of her unborn foal, through their son, the alcoholic, drug addicted, Jett Stream, were also informed about Scootaloo's unborn foal, this baby was going to be Rainbow, Soarin, Spitfire and Thunderlane's first grandfoal. Straight after Spitfire told him that he was going to be a father, Jett Stream cruelly abandoned Scootaloo, at her most vulnerable moment, which instantly pissed off Rainbow Dash, Soarin, Spitfire and Thunderlane and greatly devastated Scootaloo, but, despite this small setback, the brave teenage Pegasus mare bravely declared that she had no intention of ending her pregnancy, like the cruel Jett Stream had hoped she would. Scootaloo vowed to always be there for her child, this delighted Rainbow Dash, Soarin, Spitfire and Thunderlane.

Scootaloo was also extremely terrified about announcing her pregnancy to her friends at school. (This was mostly Because Diamond Tiara had returned to her bullying ways. Twist, an Earth Pony, with a talent for sweet confectionery and the Cutie Mark Crusaders' former friend, had now joined up with Diamond Tiara in bullying the Cutie Mark Crusaders, for no reason). The reason that Scootaloo hadn't told anypony outside of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, the Mane Six and their spouses about her pregnancy, was because she thought that the other school ponies would judge her for becoming a mother so young, thankfully for Scootaloo, her best friends, Applebloom, Babs Seed and Sweetie Belle and also, the Mane Six, her parents, Spike and Discord were fully supportive of Scootaloo's choice to keep her foal when it was born, this made it easier for the younger Pegasus to ask her best friends for help. After Scootaloo had told her that she was pregnant, Babs couldn't speak to Scootaloo, as it brought back the painful memory of the foal that she had lost not so long ago, but, Babs knew that Scootaloo didn't have anything to do with her miscarriage, that had Diamond Tiara's name written all over it and she quickly apologized for being so callous and cold-hearted to her friend.

It had been a week since Scootaloo had found out that Soarin and Rainbow Dash were her birth parents, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were in the playground of Ponyville School with the rest of the students at lunchtime, the nervous young Pegasus mare had started to pace around the bench, each time she reached Babs Seed, Scootaloo went even faster, she was ready to tell her school friends about her pregnancy, but, she was extremely terrified of what Diamond Tiara would say at her news.
"Uh, Scootaloo, why are ya runnin' around the bench?" Babs Seed asked, unlike Applebloom and most of the Apple Family, Babs didn't speak with a Western Accent, she had been born and raised in the bustling city of Manehattan, therefore she spoke with a strong Manehattan accent. (Manehattan is the Equestrian equivalent of Manhattan, a city located in New York City, in the United States of America).
"Um, I dunno, just had the sudden urge to pace around the bench" Scootaloo muttered, she began to pace even faster.
"Will ya please stop runnin' round the table Scootaloo, you're makin' us dizzier than the time Applejack made me an' Babs do 'er crazy Apple Family six-legged race durin' the Apple Family Reunion" Applebloom said, she was trying not to fall off of her seat, she was so dizzy, both Sweetie Belle and Applebloom were beginning to develop their own bumps, meaning that they were pregnant with Spike and Button Mash's foals respectively, however, neither mare were aware of their pregnancies just yet, they assumed it was from the delicious meals they had been dining on at Sweet Apple Acres each day, since Rarity had married Applejack and moved in with her.
"I'm sorry girls, I'm just really nervous about telling everypony that I'm pregnant" Scootaloo groaned, she began to nervously pace around the bench again.
"If you want our help Scootaloo, we're here for you, just stop making us and yourself dizzy for the love of Celestia, think of the you-know-what" Sweetie Belle said, she gently grabbed her Pegasus friend's hoof.
"Thanks you guys" Scootaloo said tearfully, she gently hugged her friends.
"You're going to tell us what exactly Scootaloo?" Diamond Tiara asked coldly, the pregnant Earth Pony mare was flanked by her rather reluctant marefriend, Silver Spoon, her on-off fuck buddy, Snails and Twist, the Cutie Mark Crusaders' former friend.
"That you're a bitch, Diamond Tiara, but, then again, everypony in school knows that already" Scootaloo snapped, the playground was filled with taunts and laughter from the other school ponies.
"Oh damn" Coconut Cream shouted.
"She burned you Diamond Tiara" Toola Roola laughed.
"Shut the fuck up, you stupid fucking bitches" Diamond Tiara screamed, her pregnancy was making her more bad tempered than ever.
"Scootaloo, mind your language" gasped Sweetie Belle.
"I'm sorry Sweetie Belle, it's my hormones, they're making me really cranky" Scootaloo said, she rubbed her growing bump nervously, she was trying to hide the baby's kicking from Diamond Tiara, but, Twist spotted the baby giving a small kick.
"Hormones?" Snails asked stupidly.
"Hey, your stomach just moved" Twist shouted, even more students joined the crowd, in order to see what was going on.
"Wat the fuck are you flappin' yer gums about Twist?" Applebloom snapped.
"Oh my Celestia, so the rumours going around Ponyville are true, you really did screw Jett Stream and now you're pregnant with his kid" Diamond Tiara yelled coldly, she was hoping that everypony in the school yard would openly mock Scootaloo for being pregnant.
"Celestia damn it" Scootaloo hissed.
"Holy shit-pickles" Snails said, this time, he was joining in the mocking.
"Yeah, so what if Scootaloo is pregnant Diamond Tiara, it's none o' yer fuckin' business" Applebloom snapped at her enemy.
"WHORE!" Twist yelled at the top of her voice, Twist was now good friends with Diamond Tiara, her former bully and recently, she had undergone a horrible switch, Twist had completely transformed her personality, she was once a kind and caring young mare and now she'd turned to bullying her former friends, even her sisters, Roseluck, Daisy and Lily Valley, Ponyville's flower and herb shop owners, were horrified at Twist's sudden negative personality switch.
"You're a slut!" Diamond Tiara yelled cruelly, everypony in the yard looked at Scootaloo, expecting the Pegasus teenager to launch herself at the rich Earth Pony mare, however, she had to quickly run to the bathroom, as her morning sickness had reared up again and she was very thankful that it had, she was ready to thump Twist, Snails and Diamond Tiara, both Applebloom and Sweetie Belle had to be held back by Coconut Cream and Sunny Daze, to prevent them from launching themselves at Twist and Diamond Tiara, the group were completely unaware that Scootaloo's newly discovered mother, Rainbow Dash, was flying over the school, she was heading towards Sweet Apple Acres to meet the Mane Six for lunch and she had heard everything.
"What in Ponyville was all that hullabaloo about Applebloom?" Rainbow Dash asked,
"Diamond Tiara got wind o' Scootaloo's pregnancy Rainbow Dash" Applebloom said, just then, the girls' teacher, Cheerilee, came trotting into the schoolyard, she looked very concerned.
"Yeah, now Twist has jumped on the bandwagon" Sweetie Belle said angrily, Cheerilee spotted Rainbow Dash talking to the girls, so she trotted over to them.
"I was just about to call you at your house Rainbow Dash" Cheerilee said.
"Is something wrong Cheerilee?" Rainbow asked.
"I think that Scootaloo should be taken home, she's not feeling too well, she just told me that she's pregnant and in my opinion she's being extremely brave, after all she's gone through lately" Cheerilee said to Rainbow.
"Thanks a lot Cheerilee" Rainbow smiled, as she carefully hoisted her daughter onto her back, Scootaloo had succumbed to dizziness from her non-stop mad dash around the bench and she felt too sick to walk.
