Chapter 2: Scootaloo is reunited with her birth parents

Princess Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry bravely declared their love for each other, love also began to blossom for Applejack and Rarity, Applebloom and Spike, Sweetie Belle and Button Mash and in a lesser extent for Scootaloo and Jett Stream. Scootaloo also finally succeeded in getting airborne, which almost led to tragedy, as she pushed her body too far, the young Pegasus mare's wings froze up and she plummeted down towards Ponyville, only to be saved from certain death by Rainbow Dash, the spectrum-maned Pegasus and her partner, Soarin Skies, then decided to take Scootaloo into their home.

Now, let's continue with the story.

2 months had now passed since Flash Sentry had proposed to Princess Twilight Sparkle at her birthday party at Sweet Apple Acres. The entire gang were preparing to head to the Crystal Empire, for the wedding of Applejack and Rarity, which was now just a week away. Rarity's parents, Hondo Flanks and Cookie Crumbles, had blatantly refused to attend the ceremony, as they still refused to acknowledge that Rarity was still a lesbian and that she and her fiancé, Applejack, was pregnant with their foal, this was extremely upsetting to Hondo and Cookie's youngest daughter, Sweetie Belle, as she hated her family's pointless arguing, but, she was very happy that her big sister was in love with and marrying the mare of her dreams, not only that, Sweetie Belle and Applebloom were excited by the fact that they were going to be sister-in-law's.

At Carousel Boutique in Ponyville, Rarity was carefully adjusting her fiancé, Applejack's wedding dress, this was because Applejack was now 7 months pregnant and the belt of her dress was beginning to get too tight, even though Applejack's bump had grown slightly larger, it hadn't grown by much, this was mostly thanks to Applejack's athletic build, unlike Pinkie Pie, who was also 7 months pregnant, her bump was very prominent. Rarity had opted to wear a beautiful ivory white wedding dress, from her brand-new Royal Engagement line of dresses, that she and her colleague, Sassy Saddles, had created at Rarity's Canterlot based Boutique, Rarity for You. The new line was to commemorate Princess Twilight Sparkle's engagement to Flash Sentry, just then, Applejack came into the boutique, she looked exhausted from working on her stall, Big Macintosh had just forced the heavily pregnant mare to take a much needed break.
"Howdy Rarity" Applejack said to her fiancé.
"Hello to you sweetheart" Rarity replied, she gave Applejack a big kis.
"Oof, I think that the baby's sayin' howdy too" Applejack said, as her unborn foal kicked, as if it was saying hello to it's mother.
"Well, hello to you too, buggerlugs. I hope you're behaving yourself for your mother" Rarity said to Applejack's growing bump, which replied with a gentle kick.
"Oh, now ya decide ta be gentle in there, you've been acting like ma ribs are a climbin' frame for the past 2 hours" Applejack said, despite the discomfort of having her insides kicked about all the time by her unborn foal, Applejack was greatly enjoying her pregnancy, even though it was unintentional, the baby's father, Silver Cross, was also excited to be becoming a dad.
"I thought that it was bad luck for the bride to see her, erm, bride, before the big day" Rarity said, she blushed a bright shade of crimson at her fiancé.
"I'm sorry ta bother ya sugarcube, but, I just couldn't get through the day without seein' ya" Applejack said, she was blushing just as hard as her fiancé, but, it was hard to notice with Applejack's orange fur, the heavily pregnant Earth Pony sat on one of the boutique's comfortable sofas, as she needed to rest her aching and very swollen hooves.
"Aw, I missed you both so much too darling. Just so you know Applejack, I've just readjusted your dress, so that the baby doesn't get squeezed as you walk down the aisle" Rarity said, she kissed her fiancé again and then, she gently patted Applejack's bump, which made the baby kick again, Rarity squealed happily as the baby acknowledged both of it's parents.
"I think that Sweetie Belle is still mighty upset that yer parents won't be comin' ta the weddin' ya know babe" Applejack said, as she admired her newly modified wedding dress, the hem was specially designed with little metal, jewel encrusted apples, the jewels had been donated by Spike, from his latest gem expedition in the completely abandoned diamond mine on the edge of Ponyville.
"I know she is Applejack sweetheart and it is killing me to see her looking so down, but, let us forget all about my homophobic parents for the time being, I am not going to let them stop me from marrying my dream mare next week. As for Sweetie Belle, I need to see her in a little while, I've got something very important to ask her, which will hopefully cheer her right up" Rarity said.
"Ok sugarcube, just to let ya know, she's with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Screwball and Fluttershy, playing with the animals in Fluttershy's garden" Applejack said, as she went running to the bathroom, the baby was resting on her bladder again.
"That's fine, thank you for letting me know Applejack darling" Rarity replied, as she cheerfully went back to readjusting Applejack's headdress.
"Oof, I do wish that the baby wouldn't use ma bladder as a pillow, it's uncomfortable as hell, plus I'm peein' every 10 minutes, the little bugger, it definitely has the Apple Family's genes in it" Applejack groaned, as she exited the bathroom, this made Rarity giggle and she continued to work on Applejack's dress. Later that day, Rarity found Sweetie Belle, she was dipping her hooves in the water fountain, which was situated in the centre of Ponyville's town square, the young Unicorn mare was looking extremely sad, tears were falling from Sweetie Belle's eyes, into the fountain, as they landed they made little ripples in the water.
"Hello there sweetheart" Rarity said.
"Hi Rarity" Sweetie Belle replied sadly, the rift between her parents and older sister was seriously affecting the younger Unicorn's wellbeing.
"Is something on your mind sweetheart?" Rarity asked, as she gave her little sister a warm hug.
"Yeah, I really hate that Button Mash's mom won't let him come to the wedding as my date, she's constantly trying to cause a rift between us, ever since Button's dad divorced her, she's never happy with her own son being happy. Milk Dud is such a jealous, drunken, fucking bitch, she can't handle her own son being in love" Sweetie Belle said sadly, she roughly kicked the water, which caused the water to splash up onto the floor of the pool room and onto Rarity and Sweetie Belle's hooves.
"Mind your language please Sweetie Belle, but, I am really sorry that Milk Dud is doing this to you both, Button Mash is a very handsome young stallion, however, I think I know what will cheer you up" Rarity said kindly, she could tell that her sister was very upset by Milk Dud's callous actions towards her son's marefriend.
"I highly doubt that anything could cheer me up at the moment Rarity, with you, mom and dad not talking, plus Milk Dud not allowing Button Mash to come with me to the wedding in the Crystal Empire, I'm not really in a celebratory mood" Sweetie Belle sniffled sadly.
"I think this will change your tune, Sweetie, I want you to be my best mare at the wedding" Rarity said, Sweetie Belle looked at her older sister in shock, her beautiful green eyes were shimmering like emeralds, from crying.
"Do you really mean that Rarity?" Sweetie Belle asked excitedly.
"Yes darling, I do mean it, Applejack has already asked Applebloom to be her best mare, so I thought I'd do the same with you" Rarity said, after getting this news, Sweetie Belle immediately cheered up and she squealed in delight, the young mare hugged Rarity excitedly, then she ran off to tell the Cutie Mark Crusaders, just then, Discord teleported next to Rarity, Fluttershy had asked him to invite Rarity and Sweetie Belle to dinner at his and Fluttershy's home, at Fluttershy's cottage at the edge of the Everfree Forest.
"Aw, they are so sweet at that age, aren't they Rarity?" Discord said, as he popped up behind Rarity, this made the Unicorn mare jump out of her skin in fright.
"Yes they are Discord, I really can't wait until Applejack has our foal" Rarity said.
"I'm afraid you will have to wait just a few more months my dear" Discord said.
"And another thing Discord" Rarity said.
"What's that Rarity?" Discord asked.
"Please stop making ponies jump, you mischief making toerag, or else I will tell Fluttershy about it" Rarity replied and the 2 friends laughed. At the start of Fluttershy's marriage to Discord, Rarity often disagreed with the reformed Dracconequus, who constantly struggled with guilt over his past criminal acts, but, Rarity knew that Discord adored Fluttershy and he surprised everypony and himself, at how much of an amazing father he was to his Earth Pony, Chaos Magic empowered daughter, Screwball, who often struggled to control her Chaos Magic, without the assistance of her godmother, Princess Twilight Sparkle. Discord was now slowly beginning to warm up to Screwball's mate, Mothball, a former Changeling Prince, who had left the harshness of life at Queen Chrysalis' Kingdom, in the Forest of Leota, the young Changeling even helped to defeat Chrysalis with Screwball and their Love Magic, after the maniacal and demented Changeling Queen had killed Screwball's mother. "I'm sorry about that Rarity, I just came to say that Fluttershy has invited you all to dinner tonight at the cottage" Discord said, with a chuckle and he teleported back to Fluttershy's cottage, in order to prepare for the dinner party, Rarity trotted to her own house, at Sweet Apple Acres, in order to let Applejack know about Fluttershy's dinner party invitation and to also get herself ready for the very important dinner invitation.
