(The Next Day: Tuesday)

Ryder's Point of View:

A piercing sound went off as I groggily opend my eyes, internally groaning. I did not want to go to school today, or any day for that matter.

I shut off my alarm quickly swinging my legs over the side of the bed carelessly. My feet coming in contact with the cold wooden floor. I shuffled over to my door retrieving my towel before slinging it over my forearm and walking into the bathroom locking the door behing me carefully. I turned on the hot water, stripping down as the water gradually increased in temperature.

I sang quietly to myself as the warmness of the water enveloped my being, relaxing my once tense muscles.

After a fifteen minute shower, I stepped out of the pristine bath tub patting myself dry and wrapping the towel around my clean body. I made my way back to my room careful not to make any noise in fear of waking up my baby sister.

I once heard that sleep fights cancer.

I successfully made it to my room without a creak, pulling on some leggings and oversized sweater and slipping on a pair of long socks and boots. I sat infront of the mirror combing through my long wavy hair not bothering to do anything special to it so I threw it up in a messy bun and applied a minimul amount of makeup, nothing fancy really. I didn't really have a need for it, thankfully my skin was naturally radiant.

I quickly checked my phone, it read seven o'clock a.m. I grabbed my back pack and shuffled downstairs.

My mother would no doubt be sleeping, i'm sure she would be getting up soon though. She had to take Carter to school and then go to work at the hospitial. She was a nurse.

I walked into Chemistry first period, spotting Harry in his assigned seat. He saw me, smiling a stupid little smile. I made my way through the maze of desks, passing Isabella and her little group of loyal followers.

Isabella knowingly stuck her foot out as I was walking passed her making my fall face first on the hard tile. The whole class burst into a fit of laughter, I sat up picking up all of my loose papers I had dropped. I felt someone next to me.

"I dont need your help." I stated angrily expecting Harry to be next to me, but when I turned I came face to face with some random girl. She smiled revealing her perfectly straight teeth," Oh... Sorry I thought you were someone else." We both stood up, she handed me my papers and I took them in my grasps gratefully.

"I'm Sky."

"Ryder."

She smiled sweetly her light blonde hair framing her face flawlessly and her bright cerulean eyes mirrored my blue-green orbs.

"Thanks." I spoke referring to the help she offered for the dropping of my school items due to the fact I was tripped.

"No problem." She smiled yet again before turning around and sitting back down in her seat next to a blonde headed boy. My thoughts were interupted by some nasally laughter from behind me, I rolled my eyes turning around to face the culprit of my tripping. Instead of saying anything I plainly smirked and walked over to my seat next to Harry.

"Nice fall." He commented.

"I know, I'm pretty gifted."

Harry smirked to himself turning to the paper infront of him. The bell rang signalling class had begun. Mr. Turner, our chemistry teacher walked into the classroom, introducing the lesson for the day. I zoned out the entire time, why did I have to know about how many chromosomes where naturally in the human body or how many times our veins could wrap around the world or some shit like that.

Did I actually need that in life?

Once class was over Harry turned to me.

"So um... there's a party going on Friday night. I was wondering if you know you want to go with me." I smiled widely then returned to a blank expression.

"Yeah... no."

I walked out of my last period and begun down the sidewalk plugging my earphones in my ears. Minutes later sone one grabbed me by my back pack. My heart rate picked up and I let out a yelp. I heard a deep raspy laugh, Harry appeared next to me. I rolled my eyes.

"You scared the shit out of me." I punched his arm playfully.

"Sorry, sorry." He put his hands up in surrender.

There was a silence between us, it was'nt an awkward one, but... comfortable.

"If you're planning on asking me out again you might as well get it over with."

"You are very sure of yourself you know what.?" I smiled cheekily nearing my house.

"So what do you say." He questioned.

"To what?" We walked up to my house, I gestured awkwardly wanting to go inside.

"Is this you?"

"No. It's my house."

He grinned widely,"I'll pick you up at eight."

"Only in your dreams Styles." I smirked turning to walk inside my house leaving s speechless Harry on the sidewalk.

(Friday: day of the party)

Harry did'nt bother me for the past two days, that was a record for him. Maybe he finally got the point that I did'nt enjoy his company whatsoever.

I was in fourth period art when Harry simply walked through the door, the teacher not taking any notice to him as he made his way over to me and my easel.

"Should'nt you be in class right now?" I stated blankly concentrating on my "masterpiece". If you could even call it that, I was'nt much of an artist. Harry let out a light laugh.

"Should'nt people who actually have artistic talent be in art class?"

I turned to him,"For your information Harold." He winced at this new nickname I decided to call him," I do have artistic talent." He pointed to the painting and unsure look etched into his features.

"Not sure you can call this talent love."

I threw up imaginary vomit when he said love. I shuttered.

"You are just so charming today aren't you?"

"Everyday my dear, every day." He corrected me cheekily.

"So what's the reason you have decided to bless me with your presence at this particular date and time."

"Just be ready by eight ok?" He said assuringly.

"Eight? I dont know, that's usually my bedtime..."

"Ha ha." He laughed sarcastically," Come on seriously... it's B.Y.O.B."

"Bring your own bible night! Ok then deffinately."

"Can you be serious for a second." He pleaded genuinly.

"Define serious."

"Go to the party with me tonight." He gave me puppy dog eyes. This kid was so freakin irritating. I doubt my mom would even trust me to go to a party that consister of drinking, drugs, and sex. She already made that mistake many times before back in New York. I'm done screwing up my life and frankly I didnt want to go to jail again, but that's not that point. The point is parties aren't my thing anymore.

"Fine..." I groaned in defeat.
