I sat in the hair stylists chair while Niall's hair stylist showed me hair sample swabs as I argued with Niall about what color I should dye my hair.
"I still think you should go dark. You just have that kind of face." Niall complained.
"I don't know Niall. Lighter hair kinda makes my eyes pop!" I put my hands next to my eyes and opened them outward.
"My hair is naturally blonde anyway. Unlike some else in this room...." I wiggled my eyes at Niall and he crossed his arms.
"That's no fair! Your going to pay for that later!" Niall declared.
"Oh no! In so scared...." I rolled my eyes and he stomped his feet.
"I still think you'd look better with black hair." Niall finished.
"I don't know.....don't you think it would look hot to see two blondes making out by a fire?" I questioned, knowing he would think about that for a while. His eyebrows furrowed and he stayed quiet for awhile.
"Ok you got me. Dye your hair blonde." He finally answered and I squealed as I nodded to his hair stylist and she picked out the blonde dye.
"My mom is going to kill me when she finds out I dyed my hair again and got a tattoo." I flashed the heart tattoo at him and his face lit up. He flashed his matching tattoo and then grabbed my hand and held it in his soft fingers as I dyed my hair back to its natural color. It took longer than I thought it would but Niall kept telling me jokes that he learned from Harry that made me want to both punch him and Harry, or die in laughter.
"Hey this is a good one!" Niall chimed.
"Oh Ya? What?"
"What do you call a cow with no legs?"
"What Niall?" I rolled my eyes.
"Ground beef!" And the only reason I laughed was because of how stupid it was. After my hair was done I got up and showed off to Niall who just sat there with his jaw dropped.
"What?" I asked with a sly smile.
"You look beautiful." He smiled and stood up.
"Want to test that hot blondes making out scene?" He suggested, his forehead resting on mine now as he held my waist.
"Sorry but we can only test that when there's snow!" And with that I turned and walked out of the room, knowing I was leaving him thinking. I heard loud footsteps following me and I smiled to myself before opening the door and stepping outside into the warm Florida afternoon before going back to the bitter winter I always remembered.I was sitting on the plane with a sleeping Niall next to me as I watched out the window when I spotted my first glimpse of Chicago snow in a year. It was so white and fluffy that it looked like a bunch of white kittens all sleeping together on the ground. I wanted to reach out and grab the snow and watch how it sparkles in the waning sunlight and feel it melting against my warm skin. I placed my hand on the window and suddenly a hand was placed over mine. I looked in the window and spotted Niall watching me intently, his hair spiked in different directions. I remember how when we got on there were a couple girls who recognized him and took pictures of themselves with us. I also noticed them watching him as he slept and watching us now.
"What are you thinking about?" He whispered in my ear. His lips lightly brushed my ear and I mentally shivered.
"About what I'm going to do when I get home. If I should go to school for the rest of the year or drop out and find job......" I trailed off as my thoughts spun. Niall laid his head on my shoulder and side.
"Your giving me a headache just watching you." He whispered.
"I thought you didn't get headaches." I turned to look at Niall but he just smiled and placed a finger against his lips to say "shhh." I leaned down and kissed his forehead before turning back to continue watching the snowy ground zip by and fantasize about our future.
