Chapter 21

I woke up to Niall suffocating me under his chest. It was extremely hot with both of us in the same small bed. Niall was supposed to be on the floor but I guess he found his way to the bed.
"N-Niall! Can't breathe!" And with that he rolled over but fell asleep again in an instant. I heard footsteps coming upstairs so I kicked Niall off the bed. He thudded to the ground and suddenly he disappeared. He vampire sped over to his shirt and pulled it on in blazing speed before assembling himself back on the floor. We both pretended to be asleep as my Mom opened the door and peeped inside. She walked in and placed a kiss on my forehead before walking over to Niall and looking at his figure before sighing and leaving. Shutting the door behind her. A moment later I jumped up and walked as quietly as I could over to Niall who really seemed to be asleep. I admired how his hair spiked up in random areas from how he slept on it before I plopped myself down right over him. He jumped up and pinned me against the floor. I guess he knew I was coming and now he earned a squeal from me as he trapped my hands at my side.
"Morning beautiful." He said; his voice low and rough from sleep. It made him sexy along with the droop to his eyes and lazy smirk that was cast off the grin. I smiled and somehow wriggled my arms free because my arms wrapped around his neck and pulled him down to me. His lips were soft and plump and fit right into mine just the way he always kissed me. My hands made their way to his hair and I tugged and messed up is hair the way I knew he like because he gave a soft moan and his hands began to roam my body, touching the skin where he knew it made me tremble with delight. He pulled away when my Dad called up to us saying it was breakfast time and rested his forehead against mine. His eyes flashed red and fangs flashed through his lips for a moment before they shrank away and he shook his head.
"Speaking of breakfast, I'm starving. When can we go out for a bite?" He smacked his teeth together to emphasize actual biting. I smiled.
"After breakfast i'll say I'm taking you out to see the town, then you can grab a bite." I explained and Niall smiled before pecking me on the lips and stepping outside the room with a outfit in his hands that I picked out for him last night. He shut the door and I began undressing. I was only in a bra and panties when he cracked the door and peered inside, already dressed in the black t-shirt that clung to his broad shoulders and made the fabric stretch because of his build. I threw a pillow at him but he easily swatted it away.
"Niall, I'm changing. Get out." I yelled.
"Nothing I haven't sen before." He smirked.
"Leave or I'm not taking yo out to eat and I'm going to let you starve." I threatened. Niall's face twisted to form a fake puppy dog face before he shut the door and left me to dress in a white blouse and black skinny jeans to match Niall. I left my room with my charged phone and met Niall, my parents, and Nora in the kitchen. Nora was flirting with Niall. I could tell by the way she stuck her hip out to the side and twirled her blonde hair around her finger. I felt jealous because Niall didn't seem to mind and just let her go on and on. I walked over and protectively wrapped my arms around Niall's waist. Nora's eyes lit up when she saw me and she tackled me into a hug. She squeezed me to bits and then straightened herself as if to show off in front of Niall. Niall seemed to notice hoe I felt because he reached over and grabbed me and pulled me into the side after giving me a peck on the forehead.
"Oh, you two are? Wow, way to score lil' sis!" Nora gave me a high five and Niall just blushed and looked away.
"So Mom, Dad; I'm taking Niall out to see the town. We'll be back by lunchtime-" I was cut off by my mom.
"Ok, just take Nora with you." I groaned.
"Mom, I don't need a babysitter!" I complained.
"She's not coming to watch you...." She trailed off as her gaze settled on Niall who stood looking at a picture of me and Nora at my fifth grade talent show when my hair was cut to my shoulders and Nora had a blue ombre'. most of the blue had been cut off by now though. I groaned all the way to the foyer where Niall, Nora, and I bundled up into coats and scarves. We headed out a moment later and took a seat in my car. a black Lexus. Nora had took the seat next to me so Niall had to sit in bucket seat, but that was probably better because Niall's eyes began to fade to red and I could already see his point fangs sticking out of his lip. He tucked his mouth and nose deep into his scarf and pushed black aviators onto his face, but I could still see the faintest blood red through the black tint. We parked on the curb outside a Starbucks. I intended to distract Nora to let Niall slip away and feed before we left, but things didn't go quite as planned. As Nora and I entered the star bucks and Niall watched from the curb, ora stopped and watched him turn and walk down the street a little quicker than the normal person could walk.
"Wheres hotty super-star headed off too?" She asked. I shrugged my shoulders and tried to redirect her attention to the drinks, but she was already out the door and following him down the street. Niall stopped a while up and watched a young girl turn and walk down and alley. 'Oh shit!' I thought as suddenly he vampire sped down the alley and a scream erupted into the cool night air.
"What the hell?!" Nora screeched as she ran towards the alley and stopped dead center of the scene. I rounded the corner and gasped as I watched Niall pin the girl against the wall and sink his fangs into her neck. Nora covered her hand with her mouth as we watched Niall tear into her neck and drain her. When the girls eyes began to close I stepped forward and called his name but he didn't respond.
"Niall, your going to kill her if you don't stop!" I laid my hand on his bicep and he suddenly jerked away and slammed himself to the ground. The girls eyes flew open and she wobbled before getting up and running back down the alley, screaming "Vampire!" Niall's gaze found me; his eyes remained blood red and his fangs dripped blood onto his chin. His expression was pure pain. Nora gave a loud sob and suddenly Niall's head snapped to her. He growled and stood. he vampire sped to her and she backed to the wall until Niall rested his face into her neck, bracing himself against the wall with his arms as his torso shook. He was obviously fighting himself.
"Niall." I spoked calmly as I walked over. He turned to me, his eyes pained and tears beginning to tumble down his cheeks. His mouth hung open and he hugged himself in an attempt to keep the vampire in him at bay, even though it was obvious that it was still in control.
"I can't hold it inside. It's like all the control is gone." His voice shook and his breathing was ragged as he stepped away from Nora who slid to the ground and cried silently.
"It's ok Niall. Lets go home. We can call Liam and ask him to come help you...Just come with me." I held my hand out to him and he stepped forward, his eyes beginning to return to normal before Nora sniffled and his eyes reddened once more. he turned to Nora and growled, startling both himself and I at the hunger.
"I-I can't. Call Liam.....I'm sorry." And the words barely left his lips before his figured blurred and he left us alone in the alley, both frightened and slightly nostalgic. I turned to Nora who was now standing again.
"What the hell is he?" Her voice quivered slightly. I sighed,
"Its a long story...."
