Niall
I awoke in the car to a queasiness in my stomach. I looked up to find my legs tangled with Louis and my other half wrestled under Liam's sleeping form. I was the only one of the lads awake. I slowly sat up and clutched my stomach. Was I actually car-sick? I groaned and looked out the window at the dark landscape. I fell asleep when it was light and now it's dark. How long have we been driving now? I felt confused and very very sick. A soft numbness was starting in my shoulder and I pulled down my sleeve and watched in horror as a hole began to cut its way into my left shoulder. My blood began to stain my shirt and the pain had started. What the hell?! I pitched backwards as my shoulder exploded with pain and the force of an invisible attacker pushed me back. I screamed so loud that the lads lurched upwards and stared at me in horror as I clutched my bloodied shoulder.
"Pull over!" Harry shouted and Jenna's parents pulled over to the side of the road. The lads jumped out of the car and pulled me with them. My blood stained the seat I was sitting in a moment before. I felt a second numbness across my right cheek and a moment later I was sprawling on the ground with a whip line on my cheek. More of my blood poured out.
"What's happening?!" Zayn shouted and bent down to help me as I squirmed around in the grass.
"Instead of the wound inflicting on Jenna, it's going to be reflected on you." Jenna's mom says. A numbness starts in my left calf and then I let out a crime as I feel the bullet appear and latch itself deep into my flesh.
"How do we help him?!" Louis yells as him and Liam lean down to stop me from moving. Once I'm being held down, the lads check my wounds.
"Why aren't they healing?" Harry asks.
"His healing ability has been transferred to Jenna now. He can't heal until he's with her. No more pain flowed into me as I lay silently on the ground, too exhausted to talk. My stomach twisted and I sat up only to hurl blood onto the ground. The lads picks me up when I was finished and helped me lay down in the back of the car. I was so tired that I didn't object as the lads crowded the front of the car to give me space. Now my stomach was empty, I was weak, and I was in pain. I barely even noticed when my fangs grew in and my eyes turned red until the burning in my throat started and I sat up.
"Hey guys. Can we take a pit stop?" I asked. The lads looked at me and nodded warily. Jenna's parents pulled over in a small town. The road was blocked off as hundreds of people danced and twirled in the streets to music that beat viciously against my sensitive ears. As the doors to the van slid open, the sound became unbearable as we all stumbled out with our hands cupped over our ears. Jenna's parents climbed out and handed us each a pair of little blue earplugs. We slipped them in and the noise subsided to an annoying pulse. I was shoved from the back and stumbled into the crowd head first. The lads shouted and tried to grab me before I fell but I was out of reach and was instantly swallowed into the crowd and bumped further away every time I tried to push my way back. I was so weak that I couldn't stand amongst the grinding, dancing people. I fell to my knees and began to hyperventilate. I was feeling claustrophobic and someone hit my head hard enough to pop out one of my earplugs. I scrambled for it and grabbed it just as someone stepped on my hand. Their heel dug in and their weight landed on it, leaving a large purple bruise. I pulled in my arm and screamed. It was piercing and I could feel my lungs expanding more than normal to let the sound through. The lads shouted in response when I stopped and slumped forward, feeling like I was slowly losing consciousness. My eyelids we're halfway closed when a hand clamped around my shoulder and pulled me up. It was Jenna's mom.
"Jesus Christ! Get yourself together! Your a vampire for Christ's sake!" She swore as I slumped against her and she struggled to hold my weight.
"I...need...to...get...out...of...here!" I gasped each word. I pushed my nose into her neck and felt instantly regenerated by the scent of her blood. I growled and opened my mouth to sink my fangs into her neck. She gasped and pushed me away when my fangs grazed her skin. I stumbled back and Louis caught me. Louis growled and pushed me behind him and into Harry's arms. Louis jumped forward and into her face.
"You bastard! He is weak and you decide to treat him like a nuisance!" He growled, fangs sharp and eyes blood red. He looked insanely scary. Jenna's mom didn't back down from him even though she was smaller and weaker, and reeked of fear. Liam walked forward and grabbed Louis shoulder. He leaned in and whispered in his ear.
"Your friend is going to die if you don't help him feed." Louis turned to me and I leaned back on Harry's broader shoulders, shutting my eyes and taking a shaky breath. When I opened my eyes I was being dragged into an alley by Louis who seemed to look concerned and even a tad scared. He helped me sit against the wall of a brick building. Liam appeared with a drunk Burnett with a very confident glint in her eyes, even though she had a little more fat on her bones then I was used to seeing. Louis grabbed her and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before he covered her mouth and bit into her neck. The scent of her blood flooded my senses and Louis positioned her to sit next to me. She was in shock so she wasn't screaming, just crying softly. Louis pushed the girls neck towards me and I gripped her shoulders tightly. I looked around at the lads and Jenna's parents. The lads nodded and Jenna's parents clung to each other, watching me with narrowed eyes. I parted my lips a bit and allowed my fangs to grow in and eyes to turn red before I grabbed the girls neck and head and shoved my fangs into her broken cerated artery. I tried to be clean but once I tasted her blood I was in a frenzy, desperate for more. I ripped into her neck and she finally did scream. It was loud and slurred, but terror wafted off her, building my hunger. I craved this. Taking my victims blood and feeling them writhe in pain and scream like my name was terror. This was me. This was the monster that the lads and I feared. This was who Jenna's parents named me as. And they were right. I felt something tug inside me as the girl began to fall limp against me. My throat were on fire with her intoxicated blood. I felt the tug again, harder now. It was like someone was pulling on the muscle in my chest. I ignored it and kept going, killing the girl. Then the tug came again, harder then before. It felt like someone had just kicked my chest inwards. I gasped and detached from the girl. She dropped beside me, barely alive. Maybe about a pinch of blood still flowing through her body. Her skin had turned a pale yellow color and her lips were blue. I blinked my eyes and an image flashed in my mind of Jenna leaning against chains on the wall. She didn't have a baby bump, instead a hole in her abdomen and the form of a baby laying on the ground. She was staring at the form and screaming with tears tumbling down her blood stained cheeks. Then her gaze flicked up to me with hatred and betrayal. She screamed something at me but my hearing cut out when she opened her mouth. I leaned in to listen, but I only managed to lean forward and feel cold metal press along my face and side. And that was it. I gave a sputtering, gurgly, liquidy cough and darkness consumed me.
