Confession

"What am I gonna do now? I can't just tell him straight on the face that I like him. Knowing that he loves teasing me, and I don't even know if Yami likes me back."

Shiena groans and fall back in her bed, the woman is sorting out her feelings towards her Captain and boy the thought alone sent her over the edge. After all, Yami Sukehiro is a puzzle that Shiena Novachrono can't solve. She learned from yesterday's experience that the latter loves seeing her melt like putty under his touch. Shiena was so embarrassed to the point that even if her feet are still wobbly and weak she managed to break free from Yami's grip and run away from him with a flush face leaving Yami who's laughing his ass out in the dining room.

Accepting the fact that she grew to like Yami was hard, she's not expecting that everything would be like this, after all Shiena and Yami despised each other when they met for the first time.

"If I'm going to be honest with myself, you already caught my attention from the very start, it was hilarious because instead of being nice I pissed you off instead." The memory made her chuckle, their first meeting is bizarre and hilarious that every time Shiena would remember it she would just burst into fits of laughter.

"Hey, brat who caught your attention huh?" Yami barges into the room, his eyebrows scrunching, and Shiena could swear he looked like he's going to murder someone.

He stood at on the edge of her bed and close her door with too much force that made Shiena rose from her bed and look at her Captain with a baffled expression. Ever since Shiena realized her feelings towards the foreigner, she would always be nervous and wouldn't be able to keep her cool when the latter is around.

"What the hell Old Man?! Do you even know how to knock?" The woman jump out of her bed, a scowl plastered on her pale face. But Yami didn't even falter, he still had the same murderous look and stare back at her which made her more nervous. It looks like Yami is looking down on Shiena, one wrong move and he's going to end her. "Don't even try to change the topic Kid, do you want me to throw you out?"

The way how Yami blurt out those words made Shiena shiver, she wants to runaway and escape from her fuming Captain but she couldn't. In her condition right now, escaping is futile. Mainly because Yami is blocking her escape route.

"I-it's nothing. Geez, why'd you have to be so nosy? What are you now Captain? A gossiper? Seriously." The woman respond in an exasperated tone. She tried to reason out and stay cool but judging from the way Yami glare at her like she's some kind of prey made Shiena's knee weak. He's pushing her to the corner and the poor woman couldn't help but walk back, she then came into a halt when she felt that her back is kissing the cold wall of her room. He narrowed out her escape route.

True she sorted out her feelings towards him and admitted to herself that she like the latter, she also planned to confess to him but the thought of being rejected again for who she really was kept corrupting her mind. She didn't even know if Yami likes her back, the thought of him rejecting her makes the woman's heart twinge.

"I'm not kidding brat. Just who the hell caught your attention huh?" A tick mark appeared on Yami's forehead. To say that he's pissed is an understatement. Hearing Shiena utter those words when he passed by her room makes his blood boil, now that Yami admitted that he likes the stubborn brat the thought of her being interested to someone other than the man himself is making Yami furious. He won't let her go away like yesterday again. "What is it to you then Captain? It's not like were close or something right? So please stop prying into someone else's life."

Shiena responded averting her eyes to Yami's brown orbs. She stared down on the worn out floor of her small room. She couldn't look at him in the eyes anymore, those brown pools that kept pulling her back to him over and over again. "I have the right to pry on your life, first because I'm your Captain and second because Julius entrusted you to me. Now go and speak before I snap." Yami threatened Shiena, the woman's anxiousness growing every second because the latter is so close to her. Yami is invading her personal space.
