The Other Side of the Coin

Confusion was written on everyone's face. Shiena's demon form is beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Yami's spine started shivering, he saw her on that form one time and she still had control on her body but now Incubus had complete control on Shiena's body, it made him fear of what might happen to him and everyone else when Incubus were to unleash his powers. "Well well, I was right after all. This body is the perfect vessel for me."

"You're going to pay for this Yami." Jack hiss, to say that he's angry is an understatement. Jack is completely furious. The two are rivals heck they're not even friends but as time pass by the Captain of the Green Praying Mantis learned to trust the Captain of the Black Bulls Squad. Aside from the Wizard King and William, Jack is one of those people who knew Yami very well. He thinks that Shiena is in good hand because Yami is her Captain but seeing Incubus taking over her frail body made Jack regret his decision of trusting the foreigner. The way Shiena told him about the demon that's giving her nightmares every night and that it terrified her made Jack more worried about his precious friend.

The demon was grinning like there's no tomorrow. "It's been decades and now I finally escape that dark and endless abyss. What a nostalgic feeling." He started scanning the area and make contact with everyone else until his gaze was fixed on the magic-less boy named Asta.

"Long time no see old friend." His little greeting made Asta tilt his head in confusion. "Old friend? I mean yeah, Sheen-senpai's my friend but I don't recall you being friends with me. I don't even know you!"

In a blink of an eye he walk past through Yami and the others. They didn't even notice him passing by. He's in front of Asta in a snap.

"I'm not talking to you little boy. I'm talking to the demon inside of you, right "Liebe"?"

His question made everyone more confuse if that's even possible. The captains and even the elves can sense the strong mana oozing from Shiena's frail body. She may be a frail and fragile looking woman on the outside but the way Incubus possesses her body made her intimidating and menacing.

"Judging from the way you approach my squad member I'm guessing that there's someone like you inside this brat's body too, am I right?" Yami's question made the demon snap his head from Asta's face to his direction. He still had that shit eating grin plastered on Shiena's face.

"I'm kidding Old Man. Now why don't we test everyone's endurance and stamina by fighting to the death? I'm sure that I can obliterate all of you in an instant but where's the fun and thrill in that?" His chilly voice made Asta flinch and hide behind Yami's back.

"Bold of you to assume that you can just go freely like a rouge animal and finish us all in an instant." It was Nozel's monotone voice. Charlotte is watching Yami as usual and Jack had that worried look plastered on his pale face. "Oh believe me weird braid I can." The demon's clap back made Yami snicker on the background, Nozel on the other hand is fuming like a kettle from the embarrassment. "Shut up peasant. I'll kill you after this."

"I'd like to see you try Captain weird braid." Yami bark back, he even quoted in the air when he said the nickname to piss the Silver Eagles captain more.

The tension coming from everyone else is so strong. The air is tense including the people inside the cave. One mere mistake can result to death, they're not only dealing with elves. The Magic Knights of Clover Kingdom are also dealing with a sadistic demon  that might go into a killing spree any minute.

"I'm surprise that you still had the audacity to banter and joke around when you know that you're all gonna die in a few minutes." Raia interrupted Yami and Nozel's staring battle. "I'm going to bury you into the ground insects." Veto said while grinning. "I'll kill everyone who gets in Licht's way." Fana seconded.
