━━When Savreen saw Leo leave the campfire, she didn't waste a second in following. Everyone was so enamoured by Piper in the sudden striking dress, that no one noticed her slip out and into the night after her best friend. They were always good at that, sneaking away silently; ever since they knew each other at the foster home, running to hide in the long grass at the property.

Savreen lied when she says she doesn't know why she didn't stand up and announce she was the daughter of Harmonia. It was easy, the answer. She was scared. She was scared of the stupid necklace in her pocket and scared of what will happen to her and her friends. She never expected Leo and Piper to go with Jason, but how could she be so stupid to think they wouldn't? Now, they were, and Savreen was still too scared to go with them. She wondered whether this was being harmonic, or just a complete coward. Were they the same thing?

But she was scared. Just this morning, she didn't even realise she was a demigod, or that that moment in the bathroom had been real. Now, she had fought storm spirits, almost lost her best friends, (had one that never really existed in her memories), reuinited with the woman who had given her the dreaded necklace in the first place, who was actually Hera all along, and now she was supposed to go on a quest? A quest that lead to this Great Prophecy that everyone was terrified about?

It was too much! Too quickly!

There was a part of her that wanted to scream out: it's me! I'm the daughter of Harmonia! Not because of Hera, or the thought of impending doom, but because her friends were going on this quest. Because Leo was going on it. And she couldn't lose him, not after finding him again after so long.

She caught up with him outside of the forest. She didn't know what he planned on doing by going in, she was just happy she managed to call out, "Leo!" before he disappeared in through the depths of the wood. They were back at the same place Claire had taken Savreen on the tour; by the lake.

Her best friend glanced back. He smiled softly in seeing her, but the smile didn't reach his eyes. Savreen rushed to him, and before she could stop herself, reached out for his hand. His hand was always warm; it always used to calm her as a little girl, and even now, years later, it still did, like they had never been separated.

"You ... you left," she murmured, not sure how to tell him about her heart leaping through her chest at the thought of him getting hurt. Leo stood her height precisely. They were both short, but it seemed like they were made for each other. Their friendship was supposed to exist; to the point they could meet each other's eyes at the same level, have their small hands fit around the others. "Are you okay?"
